So I’m thinking to myself, what would be a good title for today’s post? We are in the Canadian Rockies - check, we are at a lake - check, the area is simply gorgeous - check. Why don’t we title it “Gorgeous Mountain Lake”. So let’s go with it. At this point, I had circled the lake. It did only take about forty five minutes or so, an easy breezy walk, jam packed with this gorgeous scenery! Sometimes I feel so spoiled that I have the opportunity to experience all this incredible scenery. Not that I have completed the lake circuit, it is now time to relax, sit down and have a light lunch. A couple sips of water, a few deep breaths of pure mountain air, and it’s just about time to get up and going again. I will backtrack twenty minutes or so and see if I can find the turn off to Rae glacier.
