The best part of this hike was the incredible reflections bouncing off the lake. The conditions were nearly perfect for this. Zero wind, and mostly sunny skies, although a bit of smoke in the air from distant forest fires. This here lake is called Yankee lake, and it is one of three lakes we hit during this loop hike. Wonderful it was. I’d rate this hike as an 8/10, relatively easy and lots of photo ops, which I especially like as you know. Have you had a chance to do some any great hikes this summer yet? Thanks for stopping by.
