Some Ukrainian refugees are said to have chosen to return to their homeland even though Russia has not ended its offensive.
The factors that made the Ukrainian refugees return were tired of struggling for power and hunger.
Natalia Kulish (34 years old) admits that she had to make a painful choice.
The Kulish family is one of several refugee families who have been forced to decide to return to Ukraine.
Kulish and her two children have several options, namely to stay in Poland, or become homeless while waiting for a British visa which took a long time.
His last resort is to return to war-torn Ukraine, reuniting the children with their father, despite the risk of a bomb attack.
Instead of waiting indefinitely for the UK to process their visa documents, Kulish opted for the latter option.
Kulish fled Dnipro, in western Ukraine, with his children, Maria (11 years) and Luke (4 years), on March 16, 2022.
They went to Warsaw, where a Polish man agreed to accommodate them in his apartment temporarily, while waiting for their visas to be issued by the British.
Kulish applied for the Home for Ukraine program on 18 March 2022. The program will bring people or organizations in the UK together with individuals who have fled Ukraine and offer them accommodation.
