First commiserations that nobody bought your book, but perhaps the subject matter was a little too niche. It cannot have been the fault of your writing style, for it is divine. On the upside, at least you've found a use for the book now😆
It's 45 short years since I was in University. It was a hotbed of dissent and rebellion and a world of diverse opinions all expressed without fear of censure. I was on the debating team for a time and debates were always lively but cordial and devoid of name calling and screaming. I think the difference now is there's so much money up for grabs for anyone with the power or position to push a particular narrative, changing the courses of study and neutering debate.
