Hello my fellow dCity Citizens
It's been two weeks since my last update about my dCity and I think it's about time I make my move regarding I want to catch up with my friends' dCity, @arveno and @ramadhanight. They are far ahead of me but I think with a massive money good plan and tactic, I see some ways I could take to chase them.

So right now I have to set some rule of thumb for myself, so whenever I log in and buy stuffs, I don't get distracted by other shining things. Currently here are the rules I have set for myself:
- Buildings > Citizens. Initially I bought cheap citizen such as workers, because they are cheaper. I got some buffs, like tax refund, income, popularity by buying special citizens in discount. But when they died, stats dropped badly, and my rank crumbled. So Right now I focus more on buildings over citizens.
- My Income Rank is mainly generated by young citizens. Instead of trying different methods from selling them and replace them with better NFTs or Cards, whether they are building or citizens, I try to focus increasing basic income and fighting social support cost in order to be able to house in more young citizens.
- Incase I will add new rule here, they should not change the first and second rules.
My dCity
This is my dCity right now, and look! I have 15 unemployed citizens here. What's going on, why do the number increase from the last time?
This is the answer, some of my young citizens have been promoted to be students, and this create the unemployment. Unlike young citizen, student give +1 populations. Regarding I have quite good amount of popularity, the number of population that increase do not share the same number with the population which my Student cards give. A good amount of popularity makes me get more population!
Ok now the most important thing, I need to exploit this unemployment into some basic income, so I have spare income for the tax refund. I seek for the NFT which is a building, and has the highest ratio from income/population which of course... still considering the price of those cards. This is the option I take for this week:
Wow, I am making an Ice Cream City, everyone here are set to have Ice Cream as their main dish, main food LoL
This ice cream is the best thing I could come up in this round. I could get 15 job occupation for my 15 unemployed citizens, and they generate a base income of 5 x 8 = 40 SIM. I won't get these 40 $SIM into my income directly, however they become the base income which I could take them indirectly from TAX REFUND.
The Result
This is how my dCity looked after I get those Ice Cream outlet block. Right now it has 227 Base Income, and the max income for no tax is 165 $SIM. It means at this point I could get max tax refund is 165 $SIM.
However the calculation is not that simple. As I get more young citizens, the Max Income (no tax) will drop too because young citizens create big social support, which lead to reduce or push down the Max Income Lower.
That's the challenge anyway, no easy thing such as one step solves it all in this game. No such thing as holy grail moves here.
My rank doesn't move at all, it's still on #238 in Income. I do not buy any citizens that make a good Tax Refund, nor any NFT building for the tax refund. This week is purely how I strengthen my dCity foundation, making it having more Base Income for the Tax Refund.
With this move, I know well it is still far from what @arveno and @ramadhanight have achieved, and the only way for a quick catch up is by spending big which I do not wish to do right now. So like it or not, I will do this way, strengthen the foundation to make my dCity capable for carrying more Tax Refund.
