For today's blog, we will be travelling to Badian Highlands to witness its breathtaking views. So, buckle your seatbelt and let's begin.
My brother came together with his girlfriend. For a few minutes, they talked about some beautiful places for sightseeing. I have suggested Badian Highlands since I want to join their trip and I have never been into it, and I am very curious and amazed as I look at people posting about it. Without further a do, both of them agreed that we will be going there. By the way, my brother just rented a motorcycle for us to used during the trip.
Although the sun are nowhere to found that day, we never let the weather stopped our plan to go there. We have travelled minutes before we arrived at Mantalongon Dalaguete, Cebu.
Mantalongon Dalaguete is one of the provinces of Cebu. It is known as the "Vegetable Basket of Cebu" because it is the place of bountiful fruits and vegetables to be sold and supplied to the city. In addition, Mantalongon itself is often called to be the "Little Baguio of Cebu" because of its cold weather and it feels like you are in Baguio.
We stopped for a bit in the market since we set up the Google Maps going to Badian highlands since the three of us doesn't have idea about the way up here, it is our first time.
While traveling, I can really feel the coldness of the air touching my skin and everything around is full or green.
What a nice calming view. As we were going away, we lost our signal, resulting in us taking a wrong turn. It is also when the rain started pouring. At first, the rain was light until it poured heavily. So, we decided to stop by a small hut to take shelter.
While in the small hut, these are the views. The fog started going down.
I also feel sorry for the cow that was left behind while it was raining. It has surely been cold for a minute after it went down to maybe find shelter as well.
I can never deny the coldness we have felt that time. Our clothes are very wet from the rain, but it never stopped us from taking advantage of the foggy views and taking pictures.
I never felt any regrets have about pursuing our travels despite the weather, since I enjoy the calmness of the surroundings and the cinematic views of the mountains with their foggy effects.
When the rain stopped, we continued to travel. In a few minutes, we have arrived at our destination at Badian Highlands.
Badian Highland is located exactly at Badian Dalaguete Cebu. The place is very cold and quiet with very nice high mountain views. It also offers fantastic views of Negros Island in the distance.
This place is perfect for strolling, hiking and biking. If you prefer riding a vehicle, you must be careful, most especially if it is raining, since the road is often slippery and that might cause you to lose brakes and accidents. Not to mention that we almost slipped our motorcycle on a slope area since the brakes was not able to hold us but luckily, we landed safely. That is why when you go there, always be careful!.
Since it was very cold at that time, we did not stay longer. We decided to go home at almost 6 pm and that is also when the rain started pouring heavily. Our clothes were soak wet from the rain when we arrived home, so we took a bath directly.
