Hello there :)!
In the posts that Iāve written since I joined Hive I said quite a few times that I love South Korea and everything related to it - that includes their foodš. Like the title says I made Korean noodles! Thereās something about spicy food that just does it for me. I literally cannot live without it.. I donāt know if itās the flavor, or the fact that I seem to enjoy the pain of spicy foods, but I canāt imagine my life without spicy food!! Seriously, everything feels a bit bland without that spicy kick. I have 3 bottles of the original Buldak sauce at home and it goes in EVERYTHING!!! My favorite little instant fix? Buldak Carbonara noodles. Or as itās written in Korean: ė¶ėė³¶ģė©“ (bul dak bokk um myeon).
These noodles are a hot chicken flavor ramen with a creamy twist, and honestly, not everything in life is perfect, oh but these noodles areš©. And donāt worry, if youāre wondering about dietary restrictionsātheyāre completely halal, which makes them even better in my opinion!
Inside the package, youāll find two small packets: one with the spicy buldak carbonara sauce and another with a creamy powder mix that adds that carbonara touch.
Now for the fun part; cooking!
Boil the noodles in hot water for 5 minutes until theyāre soft and springy. After that, drain the water but make sure to leave around 8 tablespoons of it, this part is crucial! Then you add both the sauce and the powder and stir until everything melts together into one beautiful, spicy, creamy heaven (lol Iām drooling as Iām writing thisš¤¤).
Now, if youāre like me and love spice but also want to survive the meal without crying or sweating like you just ran a marathon, Iāve got a few tipsšš¼āāļø. I usually crack an egg into the hot noodles (or cook it) or stir in a spoon of heavy cream to tone down the spice just a tiny bit. Some people melt cheese in it too, which makes it extra creamy⦠and honestly, it slaps!!!!
I love eating Korean Noodles, itās comforting, and somehow it never gets boringš . If you love spice, this is a must try hehe. And if youāre new to Korean noodles; welcome to the club. Youāre about to enter a world of new flavorsš¤£. (I also really like black bean noodles, those are my favorites).
And taadaa! Here it is! In all itās glory (and munched down in a few minutesš¤£)
So tell me⦠would you try it? Or have you already braved the buldak heat?
I hope you enjoyed reading this post. Thank you for upvoting, reblogging & commenting. It is greatly appreciated :)ā¤ļø!
