Hey dear community, I hope you are all doing well and you had a day that has brought some interesting experiences into your life! In this article I would like to discuss Egyptian mythology and hope you are able to expand your knowledge.
To be seen here is a figure of the god Horus who is depicted in a standing position and as one of the most important gods, he is also depicted in the form of a falcon and Horus was considered a diverse deity of ancient Egypt. Horus was also considered the god of the sky and was associated with the element air and in the form of a falcon, he has protected the entire airspace and was also revered by the kings or pharaohs as a guardian god and providing protection was one of his most important attributes and a huge cult arose around him which was highly revered by the ancient Egyptians. There are even interpretations that he himself appeared in the form of a king and when in ancient Egypt someone was crowned, the king received the status of Horus and the coronation was also considered as a moment in which Horus shows himself and moved between heaven or earth and in this form he could live for eternally on earth and with each coronation, he was rejuvenated. No other god was revered in ancient Egypt more than Horus and he appears in various written and pictorial representations and to impress him, numerous works were built to pay tribute to him and over time his form of representation also changed and he was also considered at certain times as the god of war or the protector of the children. The well-known Horus eye is also is his left eye, which has been associated with the moon and the evening star, which was once healed by the god of healing or wisdom Thot, and his right eye is also considered a symbol of the sun and the morning star and in this context, he is often referred to as the bringer of light.
