Hi there and thanks for stopping by! The memories from the weekend are still tugging on me like the ocean tugs on you with the ebbing tide. It was much too short and is lovely to recall. The first pic was from yesterday as we headed out for a tour of several trails. Phoenix was anticipating the outing! She’s such a cutie! 🐶
We ended up first at an old railroad bridge turned trailhead rather than being torn down.
It spanned the Snoqualmie River.
Today dawned seriously grey and gloomy. I had an order of 6 pounds of coffee for one customer; one pound for another and @silvertop was out of coffee as well, so that made for a total 8 pounds total. Then when it was finished, I ran it to the post offices and also coerced a few Amazon packages out of their clutches, grabbed a couple gallons of milk from the grocery and set out for home.
At 3:30, we met Jan for a hike up to the off grid cabin. It was still grey and gloomy and windy! Even though we’ve gained a little bit of daylight since the winter solstice, at times today, it was gloomy enough to almost make it seem like twilight. 🙄
Tomorrow’s agenda may preempt ladies Bible study. I need some time to catch up on some house chores missed due to the late Christmas celebration and I need to pull music for this weekend’s church service, drag out the equipment and start running through it. I’m undecided at the moment.
That’s gonna be it for now. Please continue to pray for 🇺🇦. Take care and enjoy your evening!
