Today I'd like to show you more photos from the textile and fiber exhibition I visited next month, hoping this is motivating and someone is going be inspired to create an artwork of this type.
I am inspired already, just have to find the time to create something.
Mana Bucur - Alterego
This was an interesting composition, made of two pieces. One was made of some kind of ceramics I suppose, and the other is the paper relief of the face. If you give a deep thought of the concept, it's a very good representation.
Sarolta Puskai - Queen Anne's Lacenest
This was a bit confusing at first sight, it looked like an eye (maybe), but at a closer look you can see the complexity of the work.
This is a close-up photo, a partial if you like and you can see it's not just some circles and a pattern, it's made of flower drawing.
Sarolta Puskai - Queen Anne's Lace
Seems like a series made of two pieces, or at least these two were exposed at the exhibition.

Gabriella Gora Kovács - A wonderful Journey
It can be seen as a journey, if you start from the bottom and end up at the top, but it's a strange one.
Adriana Alexandra Dobra - In A Digital World
This is an interesting one as we all live in a digital world and we can't live without it actually, but how you express it from artistic point of view, it's a different thing. As there's no limits in art, so this is what the artist thinks, how she sees the digital world.
I had a close look at the canvas and all the stitches are manually done, which I appreciate a lot. If you have a closer look, you can see precision gives it out, but in this case it's a plus, not something to criticize.
Erna Berger Moise - Ecce Angelus
I've always loved out of the box thinking and execution, when it comes to art and this piece is definitely one. For those who don't understand Latin, it means Behold the Angel. I love the different materials used for this art piece, which are wood, rusty metal, felt, some kind of moldable ceramic and textile. I love it!
Anamaria Pascu - Experiment
At first glance, this work looks like an abstract painting and it is abstract indeed but it's not a painting. I suppose it's not easy to mix and distribute paint on a piece of canvas, to get an abstract pattern, but getting all of that on fabric is even harder.
I took a close-up photo for you to see it better. It requires some imagination and skills to create something like this.
Alina Magdalena Andreica - My Father's Time
This was an unusual and surprising work, made of three pieces. Honestly, I don't know what to say about it.
I took some close-ups, let's see if you can understand this one better.
I suppose the artist meant that those times are gone and the paper birds are symbolizing that, but this is just my thought, it doesn't mean it's true. The clock definitely symbolizes the passed time.
Rozália Kozma - Inspiration
As colorful as it is, I love it. It is a bit messy, as inspiration is. An idea pops up in your head, which is not clear yet, but it is enough to get you going, push you to make the thing happen. The two sides, that look foggy, symbolize the unclearness of the idea, at least in my eyes.
Cristina Mocan - Counterpoint
Now let's see which one is your favorite and why. Let me know in a comment.
