Specifically, I will be outlining the aspect I will be focusing on this year with regards to music.
MY KEYBOARD SKILLS
So far, this is the musical aspect of my life that I have worked on the most. But then, I am yet to attain perfection, I still keep meeting people that I wish to be like. I have been told by some that my major challenge with the keyboard is the fact that I want to be involved with every genre. That notwithstanding, I do not see it to be a problem, I in fact see versatility as the hallmark of a good musician. I certainly want to become better this year and I will be focusing my efforts on becoming more versatile with the keys. So help me God! To archive my plans for the keyboard I have set somethings aside. Given that I am yet to purchase a keyboard for myself, I have mapped out Mondays and Fridays for my practice. For that reason, I am to go to the church in the evening of those days to use the church keyboard for practice. I have already started the process and I believe will archive alot before the end of the year.
MUSICAL GROUPS
There are certainly lots of benefits associated with being around those who are musical. Earlier this year, I made moves towards forming a choral group but it never really worked out. I have always desired being among those who are musical as we learn from each other and that was the sole purpose of my intended choral group. Due to how much I desire to be among those who love music as much as I do, I will do anything possible to be in their company this year. I do not necessarily need to form one, I only need to be a part of one. Though I am a member of my Parish choir but that is certainly not enough. I need more experience, and joining a couple of choral group will go a long way.
THE SAXOPHONE
This one for now is just a wish but I will grab which ever opportunity that comes my way with respect to actualizing this very wish of mine. I have dropped the saxophone for over four years now, it could even be the case that I would not be able to play again. That notwithstanding, I wish to get a saxophone for myself this year. Though I am not yet sure of being able to get a saxophone for myself but I will grab whatever opportunity that might come my way towards that. Who knows, I might win the vibe web3 music competition anytime from now😁.
CONCLUSION
Music is my life and I always do whatever is possible to grow musically. This year is no exception as I will dedicate as much time as possible archiving my mapped out musical goals. To archive this then, I have ensured that time will not be a problem. I adjusted my schedule to ensure that I accommodate my days of practices. It will certainly not be an easy task, but it is a task that we must embark on.
