A few months ago I saw teaching as something complex, that it was not something for me but over time I have realized that it is something quite satisfying and to see the result that we can help to reach the children is something incredible.
I started giving painting and drawing classes and I had no idea where to start, over time I managed to create a structure and move forward in terms of deepening various topics.
And although I know how to draw and paint, it is not something I learned in an institution or at university. Everything has been self-taught and also thanks to my first teachings that my father gave me.
Therefore I have had to study a lot to know the right way to teach children and for this new period I decided to implement other techniques that I found in my research.
The idea is to make grids on simple drawings to facilitate the understanding of the lines and that the children instead of trying to replicate something big, go frame by frame copying the lines and this makes it much easier for them.
This helps them to look at the details, to understand the proportions of what they see. I hadn't applied it before but I thought it was great so I printed some sheets with drawings and put some grids on them.
I cut out the sheets with this cool tool that a cousin gave me. It makes it much easier to follow the cutting line and they are perfect.
Then I glued the drawings on pieces of cardboard to make them more resistant.
The result was great. Here I show one of the girls in my class using the template I brought her and replicating the drawing on a sheet of paper.
The grid I made for her was larger than the drawing. The result was beautiful, there are some details that we need to improve in the next class but let me know if it was not identical.
It is an excellent tool and I will be employing it in my future classes. ✨🎨
Hace unos meses veía el dar clases como algo complejo, que no era algo para mí pero con el tiempo me he dado cuenta que es algo bastante satisfactorio y le ver el resultado que podemos ayudar a llegar a los niños es algo increíble.
Empecé a dar clases de pintura y dibujo y no tenía ni idea de por dónde empezar, con el tiempo logré crear una estructura y avanzar en cuanto a profundizar varios temas.
Y aunque yo sé dibujar y pintar, no es algo que haya aprendido en una institución o en la universidad. Todo ha Sido autodidacta y también gracias a mis primeras enseñanzas que me las dió mi papá.
Por ende me ha tocado estudiar mucho para saber la forma correcta de enseñanzar a los niños y para este nuevo periodo decidí implementar otras técnicas que encontré en mi investigación.
Se trata de hacer cuadrículas sobre dibujos sencillos para facilitar el entendimiento de las líneas y que los niños en lugar de intentar replicar algo grande, vayan cuadro por cuadro copiando las líneas y así se les hace mucho más sencillo.
Esto los ayuda a fijarse en los detalles, entender las proporciones de lo que ven. No lo había aplicado antes pero me parecio algo genial así que mandé a imprimir unas hojas con dibujos a los que les coloque unas cuadrículas sobre ellos.
Recorté las hojas con esta herramienta genial que me regaló una prima. Hace que sea mucho más sencillo seguir la linea de corte y que queden perfectos.
Ya luego me puse a pegar los.dibujos sobre trozos de cartulina para que quedarán más resistentes.
El resultado fue genial. Acá les muestro a una de las niñas de mi clase utiliza la plantilla que le lleve y replicando el dibujo en una hoja.
La cuadrícula que le hice era más grande que la del dibujo. El resultado fue hermoso, hay algunos detalles que debemos mejorar en la próxima clase pero díganme si no le quedó idéntico.
Es una excelente herramienta y la estaré empleando en mis futuras clases. ✨🎨
