My perspective on gambling is gambling is a game of wanting to double or triple your income, gambling is addictive and it takes only discipline and determination to pull out especially if you have benefitted from it once or twice.
Life is a risk as well as gambling, most people do this without knowing they are doing it, and most of this Ponzi scheme we do online is also a result of gambling, I have gambled in the past but not anymore.
I got introduced by a friend who said we should play a game online but not all these football betting platforms, this site is a bit different from it, he said we were going to use #20,000 to bet and after three days we should be expecting #40,000, the first question I always asked anyone with this devilish idea is that "Have you earn from it", this guy told me he has a friend who has already cash out from it and we should do the same, I saw this as a mouth-watering opportunity for me to use #20,000 to collect #40,000 effortlessly without any trouble or any difficulty, mine is just to register and that's all.
We registered and waited for three days, after three days we collected the money and I was so happy, the guy said we should do another one, I was skeptical about the second round because most of these things don't work for me, I think I was just lucky for the first one, though I love the idea of doing the second rounds because I needed some money then, this round the guy advises me to put all the #40,000 I won to bet again so that I could receive #80,000 I was so happy and then did the second round, after three days we didn't see anything again, we waited for like a month but nothing came out of the site, I was so angry because I was at loss, I couldn't realize my #20,000 maybe that was as a result of my greediness, anyone who is involved in gambling will always be greedy because you will feel like doing it again, playing again and see the outcome, gambling is a spirit that doesn't leave someone easily unless you force it out.
I opted out of it totally that year because you can never have a stable income as a gambler, this thing will always demand more from you, I have seen people who are so addicted to it, I had a neighbor in my former apartment who love to play bet on football, he can use all his salary to play bet in a day and will now come back and says "I am going to be a millionaire soon", we will laugh because we know his reason for saying that, the next minute you will see him resting his head of the wall and lamenting and soliloquize, he will be talking to himself and feel worried and if you ask him what the problem was, he would say one game has spoiled the rest of his game, and that will not teach him any lesson to stop it, he will still go back the next day to play more.
Also, some people prefer gambling to food, they can use all their money to bet and in the end, they will end up begging innocent people for food without explaining their ordeal to them, I always advise against gambling, it is never a thing you can rely on, it is better not to start at all than to be finding a way to opt out, I called gambling a wanted money spirit, some people gamble with their cars, expensive wristwatches, phones and so on.
We must be contented with what we have and also work hard to be diligent in everything we do, I will never tell anyone that gambling is good or bad but if you know what is best for you then run from it.
