Kleiner Feuerfalter ■ Small copper
Lycaena phlaeas (Linnaeus, 1761)
In den Kalk-Trockengebieten sind kaum noch Schmetterlinge zu finden. Aber es gibt bei mir ganz in der Nähe einen Berg, der im Westen aus Silikat-Magerrasen und im Süd-Osten aus schwerem Lössboden besteht. Dort hat sich eine einzigartige Flora und Fauna entwickelt. Jedes Jahr kann ich dort Schmetterlinge oft bis in den November beobachten. Zu dieser Jahreszeit ist Artenvielfalt natürlich begrenzt, aber Feuerfalter und Hauhechel-Bläulinge fliegen jetzt noch zahlreich und manche sind auch noch relativ frisch.
There are hardly any butterflies left in the dry limestone areas. But there is a mountain very close to me, which consists of silicate meagre grassland in the west and heavy loess soil in the south-east. A unique flora and fauna has developed there. Every year I can often observe butterflies there until November. At this time of year biodiversity is of course limited, but butterflies and Hauhechel blues are still numerous and some are relatively fresh.

Mein Ziel gestern Abend war diesen kleinen Feuerfalter zusammen mit dem Sonnentergang einzufangen. Der Wind hatte etwas nachgelassen und die Sonne stand tief über dem Horizont. Es hat einfach Spaß gemacht mit Licht und Schatten zu spielen.
My goal yesterday evening was to catch this small copper butterfly together with the sun course. The wind had slackened a bit and the sun was low above the horizon. It was just fun to play with light and shadow.

Zufrieden und Glücklich habe ich den Rückweg angetreten. Jetzt wurde es schon richtig dunkel. Noch ein letztes Bild mit dem Smartphone bevor ich den Berg verlassen habe. So könnte jeder Tag zu Ende gehen.
Satisfied and happy I started my way back. Now it got really dark. One last picture with my smartphone before I left the mountain. So every day could come to an end.
