Day in and day out, we all strive to achieve our goals and live a comfortable life. Achieving success isn't as easy as it seems. We all, as individuals, have our own definition of success.

It’s sad, but the fact now is that we live in a world where success is determined by the amount of wealth a person accumulates. Many people have lost sight of what being successful is all about. The fact that people steal to get the title of successful man shows that the accumulation of wealth doesn’t necessarily make you successful.
Success can be subjective and defined differently by individuals based on their values, goals, and aspirations. However, generally speaking, being successful often involves achieving personal or professional objectives that bring a sense of fulfilment, happiness, and contentment. Success may include accomplishments in various aspects of life, such as career advancement, financial stability, personal growth, meaningful relationships, contributions to society, or simply finding happiness and peace of mind. Ultimately, success is about finding a sense of purpose and satisfaction in one's endeavours and living a fulfilling life aligned with one's values and aspirations.
We cannot solve problems with the kind of thinking we employed when we came up with them.” —Albert Einstein
Who do I consider to be a successful person?
I’ve come across different kinds of people in my life.
- The wealthy and not-successful ones
- The wealthy and successful ones
- The poor and not-successful ones

To me, being successful means being able to impact lives. We can consider HiveGhana to be successful because we have seen their actions and the amount of life they have impacted. It’s not a must to have millions of dollars in your account before you impact the lives of people around you.
Learn as if you will live forever; live like you will die tomorrow.” —Mahatma Gandhi
You have to live and stop existing. Many people are just out of their comfort zone and not living a life. Once your life starts affecting others, once people take you as a role model and mentor without you knowing, you’re already living a successful life. It’s not a must that people in your community emulate you; your impact on your family and environment can also determine your success.
You don’t have to let the standards of the world determine your success. My brother, my sister, if you are doing your best to live a good life—a life where you don’t defraud others before you become happy, a life where you sort for your daily meal yourself, a life where people come to you for advice because they know what you have gone through and you’re still out there making changes where you are—then consider yourself a successful person. Don’t let the judgement of the world make you think less of yourself. It’s not a must that you have millions in your account, own houses, and live in the best mansion before you see yourself as a successful person. The little you’re doing now, start making an impact in your environment and in the lives of people around you.
Be a successful person today, and if you have the determination to push forward, then be a wealthy and successful person. Thanks for reading.
