A Hive Marketing Proposal is Finally Approved: What It Means?

I don't know if you are aware but a very detailed Marketing proposal was recently approved. I found the relevant post yesterday, read it and went straight ahead to vote for it!

I have said multiple times that Marketing is a must no matter what anyone else says. Of course, there are different forms of marketing, some of which we can do for free.

For example, we can promote Hive and Leo on social media platforms, (Facebook, Instagram, tweeter,noise.cash) something that has already proven successful and another form of marketing is via word of mouth.

Although these strategies were proven somewhat successful, not many people joined the platform that way. If we just wanted 100-1000 new people then we are more than successful but that's not the case.

For a social media Dapp, we want millions of people coming in for this to become quite successful and i want to believe that this proposal by @lordbutterfly is actually the best we got at the moment.

A Few Words About the Proposal

To begin with, i need to say that i don't even know the guy, so by supporting this proposal i don't actually have something to gain directly. I say "directly" cause if this turns out to be a success then we all gonna profit from it as the price of Hive and its Tokens will increase.

This marketing campaign will be for 4 months and Ignite Visibility is the company responsible for doing so. Apparently, according to the proposal the company is considered as "A high profile, multiple times awarded, TOP 10 US marketing agency"

I made a small research and indeed i found good reviews about the company, some big names as clients, and a ranking of #1 in SEO. That doesn't necessarily mean that it's top-rated though because everything can be bought so i just simply state what i found with very small google research. Now the proposal has it all. CRO (Conversion rate optimization), Digital PR, Email Marketing, Ads, Influencer Marketing, it really is a very well structured proposal that contains mostly everything we need at this point.

The total cost will be around 100k for 4 months which is a fair price if you ask me. Especially, if you think of all the potential and the people that can attract. You can see a more detailed picture of the package and the fees

Final Words

I think this proposal is the most detailed marketing proposal i have ever seen on Hive. I also believe it's about time to give this a go and what we can accomplish.

On the other hand that doesn't mean we should sit tight and simply wait. In my opinion, if this thing works even a little and we have let's say 10k-20k new active people, we need to be ready.

We need to be ready and welcome them, ready to show them how this works, with tutorials and such and ofc ready to fight the abusers. Let's not kid ourselves.

The more people we got and the more lights are upon Hive, the more abusers will follow. We need to be ready to cast them aside and don't let them destroy that ecosystem! That's all from me today and below you can click and see the detailed proposal by yourselves!
