Elon Musk has a Special Power: Price Manipulation

In case you live under a rock or you simply don't care about what is going around the globe financially speaking, don't worry i am here for you. So some people, known us WallStreetBets felt sick and tired of what actual aggressive wallstreetboys are doing.

Basically, through a tactic known as shorting they were betting on stocks that will go way lower, while the average joe would want to go higher and enjoy some sweet profits. They said enough is enough and bought a lot of shares of a particular stock (Gamestop).

That way the stock pumped from around 17$ to over 300$ costing these wall street guys billions of dollars. Some popular exchanging apps were then "forced" to "delist" the option for a certain while in order to help these wall street guys that were betting against everyday people, survive.

Now these guys had a Twitter with around 16k followers and while achieving what they did they caught the attention of Elon Musk who tweeted about them and here is the result of his words

Now these guys decided to pump Dogecoin and Elon "helped again" or showed the power of his words again, you can rephrase it as you like.

After this post, a great pump started on dogecoin and even managed to have it reach 0,07 cents! Imagine the power of words, what did it achieve. The goal was 1$ though, which i don't see it happening anytime soon if you ask me.

7 cents isn't a small amount though. You could literally x7 the amount you had. Let's say you had 1k worth of dogecoin, now you had 7k or even better, imagine if you had 10k or 100k, now you had 100k or 700k, you could literally change your life.

The next thing that Elon did today was to write a new description which was basically a single tag, #Bitcoin.

By doing so the price of btc increased from 32 k to 38k with a single tweet. So once again the richest person on earth with 44 million followers showed his power!

I know that the community loves Elon Musk and i have no problem with him either, but his "special power" of manipulating the prices with a single tweet shows a lot for us as a community. On the one hand it shows how much we trust him and love him but on the other hand, you can call us a herd, doing what Elon is suggesting.

Also, note that in the worst-case scenario this person could actually manipulate us while earning a shit ton of money. To break this in a simple way, he can buy before making a tweet and then enjoying the profits.

Conclusion

All in all Elon's words have power and now we know it for good. What we don't know is whether he earns a lot of money by doing that or just doing it for the sake of people, or simply speaks his mind. Maybe it's a little bit of everything who knows but having that kind of power is a great responsibility if you ask me.
