I got the boys to school yesterday morning then after letting the birds out and getting the dog fed I went out for a bike ride. My new bike is so much nicer than my old one and rides nice and smooth. I took one of my normal routes that crossed the highway a few times but it meant I was on the side roads with zero traffic.
I was kinda pushing it with a pretty constant pedal cadence and was keeping about 10 mph on the climb up. The lake is closed again and I wanted to find out why so I rode in the south end and then over to the main entrance where I saw there are excavators and crews still doing construction work.
I rode around the south end of the lake to the play area and got to check out the new docks a bit. I then headed back south for home and as soon as out of the park it was all down hill back to the house.
I was pretty worked after the ride and it took a bit to cool down.
Which I was able to do while watching the first PDC matches. Littler went on to win the day and be the first person to win 5 nights in the new format premiere league.
It was after noon when I headed out to till the last garden spot, before the Utd half time.
I walked back into the house to see Utd up 3-0 which is how the game ended. The idiocy of everything, Utd is the only unbeaten team in either the CL or Europa... Yet they shit the bed EPL.
Not very pleased. I was checking the #garlic for any scape growth and stepped over the fence towards the hive. I got one bitch bee that came after me and stung me on my left ear. It got squished quickly and I went inside to deal with the sting. I squeezed the spot and got a bunch of blood out then coated it well with Benadryl cream then took a couple Benadryl. The muscle or lymph node below my ear is still sore this morning but better.
My wing is on its way and I found a set of c-riser handles. My current wing has c bar controls but it is black. So I printed these out in orange which will be for my new wing and I will use the black brake handles so they contrast absolutely. I will put the orange brake handles on my old wing with the black c controls.
Picked the boys up from STEM in the afternoon then once back I got the irrigation and plastic setup. Seeds will go in today.
This works perfect. Fly rod holder that I printed out and I may end up attaching it to my bike since it's a couple miles either way to lake or creeks.
J made dinner as he wanted Rice A Roni so he got to learn how and did a good job of it. We sat out on the deck to eat in the warm evening.
J loves his Dummy 13.
It's kinda nice to have it light still when we go out to soak and not having been dark for 4 hours already.
I'm hoping my wing arrives today, USPS isn't updating tracking like it should... I'll get the boys to school in a while, install the handles on my wing(s), organize my tool shed as it is a disaster area and I need room to work on my truck parts, @stryeyz will be off early today for the co-op pickup then bubble run at R's school this evening. I will be hopefully able to go kite my wing when I get it....
