Fridays are #FBF, and we can also take them to remember beautiful moments in our lives, or maybe not so much, but aha, and me, today I will take the audacity to outrage this community to premiere it with my first publication of #flashbackfriday, with your permission @jesuslnrs, is that yesterday I did not reach to arrive on time, and today I'm already in the line hahaha. And the thing is that on Fridays my body doesn't even realize what day it is hahaha, contrary to what my Fridays were 8 or 9 years ago, definitely becoming a mother, gave a total turnaround to my life, because back there between 2006 to 2015, my body disappeared from home all weekend hahaha, because the parties were from Friday to Sunday, enough to not miss them in these times.
Today I come to tell you about a party I went to with my brother, in 2009, my mother was born in a town in the state of Guárico, called El Sombrero, she came from there at the early age of 11, however, most of her maternal family, even her only brother, my uncle, stayed there, and for that year it was the 50th birthday of the spoiled aunt of all in the family, and for her they had organized a big celebration, very much in the style of the Venezuelan plains, I was in my time that where there was a party, music and liquor, was where I could be found, so I made arrangements to attend with my brother, where to arrive and sleep, there was plenty to be honest, although it was not that we knew the whole family, and we would attend without my mother to guide us a little, but it was not something to worry about, there would be my grandmother and my uncles, what could go wrong?
We had always gone with our parents, and in our own car, so this would be our first time traveling alone and by bus, and it would become the last, because public transportation to get to this town, is slower than that ferry that took me to Margarita Island, we arrived at my uncle's house, he always invited us, but the truth is that we preferred to go to a mall than to go to that town where what abounds is the heat hahaha, we went for a couple of laps with my uncle, to visit some aunts of my mother, and to meet a lot of cousins of which we did not know of their existence, a little uncomfortable situation to be honest.
My brother took one of his friends as a companion, so he was not so bored, I for my part, I could not say the same, it was time to go to the party, so we got dressed up, obviously the party was with llanera theme, so you could not miss the typical cowboy hat, and some plaid shirts, yes I know, it sounds stereotypical, but when we arrived at the place, everyone was dressed the same hahaha, the party started an hour after we arrived, when the llanera music group arrived, my brother was not leaving my uncle, so soon I was left alone, because my uncle was in charge of the meat on a stick, and I was like a little bird in the grass, seeing which cousin or cousin I could find to stick to him like a chewing gum hahaha, very rumbera and all, but being alone at a party is not nice at all.
Quickly, I met some cousins of my mother, with whom I have more confidence, because we are always in contact, they were the ones who had organized the party, so I immediately offered to help them in the kitchen, this way I would do something I liked and I would be near the liquor and food, hahaha, the mentality of fat rumbera, took me through life hahaha, and even when I was pecking all night, I could not save myself from the binge that I hit at that party, at about 3: 00 am, I remember seeing my brother and his friend, who although they had also spent the night pecking on the carne asada, were lying drunk each on a bed they had improvised with some empty tables hahaha.

Sharing with all my maternal family, that weekend, even when we were hot, and suffered the ravages of the hangover, was something really nice, that was one of the last times that my mother's family, gathered for a celebration, as many have already left the country, Others are no longer with us in this plane, for my part, I returned a couple of times to that little town, but only in passing, because work or personal commitments did not allow me an adventure like that weekend, I hope to return soon, and take Mathias to know the town where his grandmother was born.

¡Hola, hola, mis queridos amantes de los buenos recuerdos! ¿Quién dijo que solo podemos recordar buenos momentos, los jueves? Los viernes son de #FBF, y también podemos tomarlos para recordar momentos hermosos en nuestras vidas, o quizás no tanto, pero aja, y yo, hoy me tomaré el atrevimiento de ultrajar esta comunidad para estrenármela con mi primera publicación de #flashbackfriday, con tu permiso @jesuslnrs, es que ayer no alcance a llegar a tiempo, y ya hoy estoy en la raya jajaja. Y es que, los viernes ya mi cuerpo ni se da cuenta de qué día es jajaja, caso contrario a lo que eran mis viernes unos 8 o 9 años atrás, definitivamente convertirme en madre, le dio un vuelco total a mi vida, pues por allá entre el 2006 al 2015, mi cuerpo desaparecía de casa todo el fin de semana jajaja, pues las fiestas eran de viernes a domingo, lo suficiente para no extrañarlas en estos tiempos.
Hoy les vengo a contar de una fiesta a la que fui con mi hermano, por el 2009, mi madre nació en un pueblo del estado Guárico, llamado El Sombrero, de allá se vino a la temprana edad de 11 años, sin embargo, la mayor parte de su familia materna, incluso su único hermano, mi tío, se quedaron por allá, y para ese año era el cumpleaños número 50 de la tía consentida de todos en la familia, y para ella habían organizado una gran celebración, muy al estilo de los llanos venezolanos, con arpa, cuatro y maracas, además de mucho licor y carne asada, yo estaba en mi época de que donde había, fiesta, música y licor, era donde me podían encontrar, así que, hice los arreglos para asistir con mi hermano, a donde llegar y dormir, sobraba para ser sinceros, aunque no era que conociéramos a toda la familia, y asistiríamos sin mi madre para que nos orientara un poco, pero no era algo de que preocuparnos, estaría mi abuela y mis tíos, ¿Qué podía salir mal?
Siempre habíamos ido con nuestros padres, y en carro propio, así que esta sería nuestra primera vez viajando solos y en bus, y se convertiría en la última, porque el transporte público para llegar a este pueblito, es más lento que aquel ferry que me llevo a la Isla de Margarita, llegamos a la casa de mi tío, él siempre nos invitaba, pero la verdad es que nosotros preferíamos ir a un centro comercial que ir para aquel pueblo donde lo que abunda es el calor jajaja, fuimos a dar un par de vueltas con mi tío, a visitar a unas tías de mi madre, y a conocer a un montón de primos de los cuales no sabíamos de su existencia, un poco incomoda la situación para ser sinceros.
Mi hermano se llevó a uno de sus amigos como acompañante, por lo que él no estaba tan aburrido, yo por mi parte, no podía decir lo mismo, se hizo la hora de irnos a la fiesta, por lo que nos arreglamos, obviamente la fiesta era con temática llanera, por lo que no podía faltar el típico sombrero de vaquero, y unas camisas a cuadros, si lo sé, suena a estereotipo, pero cuando llegamos al lugar, todos estaban vestidos igual jajaja, la fiesta comenzó una hora después que llegamos, cuando llego el grupo de música llanera, mi hermano no se despegaba de mi tío, por lo que pronto me dejo sola, pues mi tío estaba a cargo de la carne en vara, y yo como pajarito en grama, viendo a que prima o primo conocido encontraba para pegarme a él cómo un chicle jajaja, muy rumbera y todo, pero estar sola en una fiesta no es nada agradable.
Rápidamente, me encontré con unas primas de mi madre, con las que tengo más confianza, pues siempre estamos en contacto, ellas eran las que habían organizado la fiesta, así que de inmediato me ofrecí para ayudarlas en la cocina, de esta manera haría algo que me gustaba y estaría cerca del licor y la comida, jajaja, la mentalidad de gorda rumbera, me llevaba por la vida jajaja, y aun cuando estaba picoteando toda la noche, no me pude salvar de la borrachera que me pegue en esa fiesta, a eso de las 3:00 am, recuerdo haber visto a mi hermano y a su amigo, que aunque también habían pasado la noche picoteando la carne asada, yacían borrachos cada uno sobre una cama que habían improvisado con algunas mesas vacías jajaja.
Ya a esa hora, prácticamente le suplicaba a mi tío que nos fuéramos a su casa, la verdad es que, aunque para esa época mi hígado estaba bien adaptado a la ingesta de licor en grandes cantidades, la cantidad que habíamos tomado ese día, sobrepasaba los límites a los que antes habíamos llegado, logramos llegar a dormir a eso de las 4:00 am a casa de mi tío, con un calor infernal, si has tomado hasta emborracharte, sabrás que esto es fatal para un borracho, esa noche no logramos pegar un ojo, pues a las 6:00 am ya estaba mi tío tocando la puerta del cuarto para invitarnos a seguir tomando y visitar las casas de algunos tíos, él estaba orgulloso y feliz de que estuviéramos allí con él, recuerdo que mi hermano me veía la cara, como queriendo salir corriendo, a eso de las 2:00 pm le pidió el aventón a uno de nuestros primos que regresaría ese mismo día a Maracay, a mí me correspondía pasar otra noche más en aquel calor abrazador, pues tenía que regresarme con mi abuela, no la podía dejar sola.
Compartir con toda mi familia materna, ese fin de semana, aun cuando pasamos calor, y sufrimos los embates de la resaca, fue algo realmente agradable, esa fue una de las últimas veces que la familia de mi madre, se reunió para una celebración, pues muchos ya se han ido del país, otros ya no están con nosotros en este plano, de mi parte, regrese un par de veces a ese pueblito, pero solo de pasada, pues el trabajo o los compromisos personales no me permitían una aventura como la de aquel fin de semana, espero pronto regresar, y llevar a Mathias para que conozca el pueblo en donde nació su abuela.
