After reading the last post of @alexvan I realized the year-long challenge proposed by @leogrowth for setting our LEO goals also includes monthly updates, during the first 5 days of every month of 2023. And that includes January.
That was a great reminder from Alex. From now on I'll have my own alarm scheduled.
It has passed less than two weeks since I set my Leo goals for 2023. This is the post where I presented them.
As a very short recap, I said I'll start 2023 with 10500 LEO staked and 500 delegated for a while (which I did), and my goal is to end the year with 22500 LEO staked. That gives interim monthly guidelines (or milestones if you want to make them more enforceable - which I don't!) of around 1000 LEO staked every month.
This means in January I'll have to stake 1000 LEO to reach that guideline (11500 LEO staked). We are still very early in January.
For now, I've staked some LEO after the month began, but most of it was earned during the last few days of December. The remaining LEO rewards I will keep liquid until LPUD. Afterward, I'll probably stake LEO more often until the end of January, when I'll switch back to keeping liquid LEO instead of staking it, for the LPUD in February.
Here's my standing right now:
Counting both staked and unstaked LEO, that's a little over 250 increase compared to 10500, or 1/4 toward the monthly guideline in 5 days. Not bad! But the data is distorted because some of the rewards come from the end of December, they were just staked in January.
It's too early for now. Next month's update should be a little more relevant.
