Leofinance's Project Blank Was Officially Launched This Week
Project Blank was the nickname for their short-form content platform for a long time (almost 3 years). Its real name turned out to be Threads and it is the focal part of the new UI for Leofinance. But before that, a version of Threads was included in the old Leofinance interface and an alpha version of the new UI also ran for a few months in parallel with the old UI.
On Monday, Leofinance Alpha became the main website, and, at the same time, a number of additional features were launched, particularly new ways to create Hive accounts via Web2 social media accounts (Google, Twitter). This is the Launch Party recording:

Note there is a Zealy campaign going on with serious prizes (10k USD worth of LEO, 2x100k HP delegations to the Hive communities represented by the winners, limited NFTs, LP delegations, etc.). This is the initial video presentation by the campaign's creator, Eric (@anomadsoul):

TrustExchange: Web2 Platform Coming to Hive
TrustExchange is a business information Web2 platform launched in 2015 by @baltai, who is a member of the Board of Splinterlands company.
I became aware of this news via @aggroad, who wrote a post about it.
This is the whitepaper about how they are going to integrate TrustExchange with Hive.
They will have a token TREX, which will be distributed based on contribution. Much like Splinterlands whitepapers, the tokenomics includes an airdrop, staking rewards, DAO and team distributions, etc.
Interview with Elmerlin, founder of Liketu
This interview with @elmerlin at the podcast of @jonsnow1983, during which @eddiespino interacted as well, isn't from this week, but it's interesting to hear his thoughts and what he's working on from time to time, even if this one is 3h long. Thanks, Zoltan for sharing it in your post!
Looks like Liketu Mobile should be coming out this May (maybe it's already out, I haven't checked). He is also working on a way to decentralize his huge voting power, in a complex system which he called aura. In a way, aura could be regarded as a reputation system, influenced seriously by engagement rather than rewards. Lots of topics being touched about Hive, and what can be improved, in his opinion.
CTPX Started a Referral Contest
The interesting part about it is that rewards are CTP miners. There are other ways of earning those prizes besides being a top referrer, like:

- Using the #ctp tag in LeoThreads
- Being active users inside of the CTP Discord

Bitcoin's Daily Transactions Record Broke
The previous record was set during the 2017 bull run and was broken on Sunday.
Is it also possible the following news has an influence on the number of daily transactions on bitcoin lately?
This hypothesis concurs with the fact that bitcoin transaction fees hit a 2-year max at the beginning of May, so meme coins hype may be responsible.
