I made an oatmeal-based drink in response to the Inleo prompt, and it's awesome how the drink became quite essential for not just me but my family today. We woke up to very cool weather, but at a point, the sun came intimidating and there was nothing we could do about it.
Upon seeing the prompt, I told myself that making a chill drink for the weekend would be perfect, and I immediately set out to get the ingredients I needed to make something refreshing for the family.
This refreshing drink is a smoothie, and as the prompt demands, oatmeal is one of the ingredients. I have tried oatmeal in my snacks, most especially pancakes, but not in drinks. It's my first time including oatmeal in my smoothie, and I am glad the outcome was really good.
Ingredients.
Oatmeal - 32g
Banana - 400g
Sugar - 3 tablespoons
Roasted Groundnut - 35g
Procedure
I picked my groundnut to be sure there aren't unwanted particles hiding among them.
I rinsed the banana, peeled the back, and put everything in a container.

- I rinsed my blender cup properly and started putting my ingredients in the cup.

- The bananas went into the cup first.

- I added the oatmeal.
- I added the sugar.

- Finally, the groundnut joined the party.

I blended the combination for about three minutes to ensure that the smoothie would indeed be smooth.

I already kept 100 cl of ice cube aside and turned half of it into the blender cup with the smoothie.

I blended the ice with the smoothie for about two minutes and finally added the remaining ice.
I blended the smoothie again for another two minutes, and my smoothie is ready.
It doesn't look like much, but this delicious drink actually made my morning. I felt the relaxing effect of the drink while drinking and can tell that my family enjoyed it as well.
I couldn't stop laughing when they asked if we could make more, but that wouldn't be today.
The nutritional value of this drink is on point and those who are familiar with this particular smoothie can relate.
