A Blessed Day Hivers!
As a Christian, one of my pleasures is to be able to participate in God's activities and I am truly grateful to God because He has never failed me because I have been able to participate in almost all activities and I have increased my knowledge about to Him and my faith in Him grew even stronger. Today I will share with all of you the Mindanao Youth Congress I participated in with the youths in different parts of Mindanao.
The Mindanao Youth Congress is indeed an annual event for the Youth Leaders of different Churches throughout Mindanao but when the pandemic happened, it had not happened for two years and for this year, we thank God because it turned around again and it's even better because it's relatively close to us so we can attend our Church and other colleagues.
We woke up early this day because we still had about two hours to travel to the venue. At about 4:30 in the morning, I woke up to get ready and organize things to bring. We are also thankful because the house where we stayed since we went to Tagbalogo mountain, was very kind because they actually prepared our breakfast.
We boarded around 6:30 in the morning and we rode in a Van because it didn't stop unlike the Bus, so we arrived at the venue around 8:00 in the morning, which is good just and it hasn't started yet because there are more people who have come. We went straight to the registration table to get our tickets for our foods.
Just a few moments around 8:30, the said event also started and it was led by welcoming all the Senior Pastor Church where they hosted and prepared the venue. It was also followed by presentations by different bands here in Mindanao whose sole purpose is to praise and worship God.
After the presentations, it was immediately followed by Praise and Worship led by the host Church in the Assembly of God Nazareth, Cagayan de Oro City. We all dedicate all the songs to God because He alone deserves thanks and praise.
After Praise and Worship, it was immediately followed by the sharing of our speakers for this event. Our speakers at this event are not random because we have speakers from other bands or foreigners who really took the time to share God's beautiful messages for everyone in line with the theme. "Ablaze for a Greater Harvest".
At around 12:00, we broke for lunch and because we registered early, we had a free lunch and that's where we had lunch and rested until around 1:00 in the afternoon when we resumed again the event.
In the afternoon, there was Praise and Worship again and the lead this time was our Section, Section 3 led by the youth leaders of our Section. This is where we continue to praise and worship God because of His tireless giving of strength and protection on a daily basis and also in this work.
Our activity continued and the sharing of some of the speakers at this event was really beautiful in what they shared from the Words of God. We as youth leaders really need to be strong and always warm in believing in God, always relying on God because we have nothing, God has everything, He is our strength in every ministry that He has given us .
We didn't finish the whole event because our babyahein is still a bit far away and we still have something to get married. When we had a break again, we didn't miss the opportunity to take pictures on stage with my fellow youths leaders also as our remembrance here. It is really a pleasure to participate in God's activities because it gives me more strength and stronger faith in Him, so I am very grateful to God for everything he has done in my life.
