We come across new innovation and technology development everyday. Everyday we come to know about new development in some sector and Iust say the evolution of technology is rapid in present era. In our times we do not get hand on the technology easily as compare to the kids of today's generation which has easy access to phone, TV, internet etc. The internet was was not available to everyone which in today is in everyone's smart phone. The mobile operators charged the users for incoming callas also which are free now days even unlimited outgoing calls are also available at cheap rates. The technology made our life easy no doubt but this easiness also comes with some cost. Here when I say cost that also means the tangible and non tangible both.
The children are very smart now days, smart means they has good grasping power and they catch the technology very easily. If we look around us we will find that the old age or elders find it difficult at start when use of smart phones but the kids they start using it very easily. It seems they learned it in their mother's womb itself. As I mentioned that the technology make our lives easy but we are paying a good cost of it. The one big disadvantage of technology is that it makes us lazy. It is very dangerous for kids as it effects their mental health. When we were kids we alwsy use our brain to make basic calculations like additions or subtraction but in today world if we ask a kid to add two number he will immediately opens the calculator in smart phone to find out the results. This is because they do not want to use the brain and tus is not good for their mental health. Another example is the memerising the numbers. We use to remeber the telephone numbers of our relatives but today kids use the contact feature of smart phone to store and retrieve the contact number.
The use of Maps and GPS also means we do ot worther to remembering the routs or the name of places we are going through and when someone ask us for the place near to us we also try to check it on Google map.
Both the example are belongs to the our day to day activities. The use of AI by kids is Korean dangerous. It will take the a ability of kids which enable them to think and give thought process. How wants to complete an assignment by their own when a AI bot is ready to do the same for you and that is within seconds. In our holiday the teacher use to give us assignment which were very essential for our growth. The assignment make sure we will be engaged thought out the holidays and it also ensure that we must go out to explore the nature but now days when everything is available with some computer clicks.
I am not saying the technology is bad but the good or bad depends on the way we use it. No doubt the GPS and AI are the need of today's world but on the other hand they also creating a negative effect on kids. It's very essential to keep watch on kids so they they use the technology in good manners.
