Law governs people to behave in an appropriate manner. Without law in a society, such a society cannot function properly. Without law in my country, my state and my community would have been in chaos. What makes people fear law is the punishment that is attached to the laws. Even in a society with laws, people are still violating the laws, and doing the wrong things.
Just think about if anything you wanted to do is to commit murder, crime, rape, and steal; and they are all legal in a community.
Believe me, I would have committed murder at least twice. Psychopaths and sociopaths would have controlled society. More people would be influenced by negative attitudes.
I would have killed my lecturer during the school days because he stressed and frustrated my life. The Only thing I was thinking during that time was, if the government could give an individual a chance once in 5 years to kill; I would have used 20 years to kill him, his wife and two kids.
Thank God, there are laws that keep social structures in place and to ensure everyone indiscriminately goes by standard rules in a community or country.

Purpose of Law
Preserve Freedom and moral: There is good and bad in every human being. We often want revenge if someone does something wrong against us. I read the news of a young boy that killed his friends because those friends killed his mother and father. No one does something like this without thinking of killing them by any means he/she knows.
If not laws that are working very well, many people would have killed others in the society.
Therefore, law makes one to be moral, reduces conflict and undesirable behaviors.
Community exist because rules of law, without rules of law, everyone would like to do what he wants.
To promote peace
What make my community peaceful is the law that is working. If not the law that is working, no one will be able to sleep in the night because of hoodlums, arm robbers pocket-picker. Most of the youths that are fighting for survival by doing labor would have preferred to steal. A community without laws cannot be peaceful. People would have killed each other because of the properties.
Do I take part in my Local Government (community)?
Yes! I'm play a major rule in my local government by teaching the young ones. I am a teacher by profession. Despite I teach mathematics, I still teach my students how to be moral and laws in the community.
I took them to seminar such as a Child Sexual Exploitation, Abuse and Violence programs. The purpose of the program was to let be aware of sexual exploration, abuse and violence in the society and the best things they can do.
After the came back from that program, and the selected three students presented the seminar to all the students, that was when some of them realized the penalty attached to it.
This is one way to contribute to the growth of community. Teaching adolescents a moral standards before they get out of hand.
Giving those learners a brighter future by teaching them what is beneficial to them.
I’m also working as a per time in health sector; I and my group carried out community outreach twice in a month.
Is My Community Organized?
We!!! There is an order in my community but I don't think it is well organized as the way it should be.
We have a kings, chiefs, security personnel and more.
You know there is no community without deficiency, despite of the rulers and the security personnel, people are still committing crimes.
SourceIssues With Law?
Our law has a big challenges. A criminal can be freed even when they know that he committed offence that should be jailed. Why innocent people can be jailed because he has no influential person backing him up.
If you are wealthy, you can be above laws in my country.
I stand up for success, and success is not achieved by merely making mouth, No room for laziness, no room for idleness. Success comes to the people who are desperately and consciously searching for it. When it seems unsuccessful or you smell failure around you, never discourage yourself from being successful.
