Setting a goal for myself has been something really hard for me to do but luckily for me I'm not alone this time around, I have to set goals for the next three months in the newbies initiative along side with others who are newbies like me. I guess that gives me some kind of energy to finish till the end.
I'll want to appreciate this initiative and all those who supports it in so many ways in the persons of @starstrings01 @aliento @theycallmedan @projectmamabg and many others for their support, lectures and encouragement. Giving this opportunity was a way to go and I'm glad to be part of it too.

Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible into the visible
Tony Robbins
It is sure that those behind the initiative knows the value of having goals and achieving the goals in this initiative. Making every newbie set a goal is a way forward for each of the accounts and I'm willing to take this first step to make the invisible visible for me.
My Hive Power Goal
I've joined Hive not longer than four months and it haven't been easy for me to grow my HP, I guess that was one of the reasons I joined the initiative as I believe it would help me to be more conscious of growing my account.
As at now, my Hive power is 23+ which is very low to the extent of running out resource credits when I engage too much in the comment sections. I hope that by the end of the three months with the program, I should have gotten up to 150 Hive power as my own.
My Followers Goal
I feel some kind of magic or maybe electric when I get a new follower on my blog, it is so satisfying to see people who love what I write and follow me for more. And for that reason, I look forward to having more followers as time goes on.
I have 46 followers at the time of submitting this post and I'm hoping that by the end of the three months, I will have 100 followers and that means I have to get 64 more followers.
My Contents and Engagement Goal
I have made over 30 posts and 700 comments now, comments are more because I've come to love the engagement side of blogging but I will not fail to come up good write ups as well.
I have set the plan of reaching 100 posts and 1500 comments by the end of three months. Not just any kind of post but quality and good connecting comments.
I want to be a good content creator and also someone that inspires through my write-ups by the end of three months.
How I plan on achieving my goals
You measure the size of the accomplishment by the obstacles you have to overcome to reach your goals.
Booker T. Washington
For my Hive power goal, I have placed my HP to 100 percent. In so doing, I believe by the end of three months, I would have been able to achieve my goal as I would be investing directly to my Hive Power.
For my followers goal, I intend on engaging more with other writers, participate in different contests and also publishing great contents.
For my commenting and engaging goal, I intend on always keeping myself updated with recent write-ups by always been online most of my time for the next three months and I know that by so doing, I will be able to achieve my goals.
Challenges I May Face But Won't Mind
The major challenge I'm facing even now is my low Hive power, as it affects my resource credit which in turn affects the way I engage with others.
Writers block - Most times when I pick up my phone to make a write-up, I just feel like I'm lost, but at this point, I try to engage with other writers to feel motivated.
My phone network is not much of a challenge but some days it really brings a lot of problems to me because my phone is slow due to the fact that it makes use of 3g network.
Going about my normal offline activities can hinder me from accomplishing some of my goals due to unforeseen circumstances.
But notwithstanding these challenges, I'm more than ready to work harder towards achieving my three months goal.
I'll want to appreciate the @newbies-hive and hive learners for their continuous support and encouragement because they will go a long way in making me achieve my goals too.
