Whoever came up with the saying; “Different strokes for different folks” is a genius! This wise saying is so accurate.
How do you explain when you can’t take certain things and the person next to you might not give a hoot about that same thing, how?
What are your preferences for media quality? Savvy or not, how much do you care about the quality of videos you watch.
If it were left to me, this wouldn’t be up for discussion because who sees a good thing and would rather love the substandard one? Absolutely nobody.
While a good number of people can watch movies as long as they can see and hear what is playing in the background, I can’t. For me, that's not enough.
I mean I appreciate the message, the effort, and everything in between but a movie with a low quality? Nah..
I always want the best quality of whatever I am looking at, be it a picture or a video. If the video or picture is blurry, dark, or pixelated it turns me off but then again, half the time there is nothing I can do to make the picture or video any better.
The only reason why I am sticking to Netflix is because I don’t get to worry about movies with low quality.
There was one time when I needed to watch a particular series. A friend of mine recommended a website for me to watch the series. On that faithful day, the internet was slow. The videos kept buffering, the image quality was so poor that I couldn’t see the faces of the actors clearly, the colors were dull, and the whole experience just didn’t feel right. I finished the series, but it felt like I had to endure till the end.
Later, when I switched sims and the internet was faster, I decided to go back to rewatch the same series, this time it was HD, and wow, It felt like I was watching something completely new. I noticed things I had missed the first time. The colors were brighter, and everything looked perfect and I enjoyed every bit of the series.
One thing about me is that, if I ever manage to watch a movie in low quality just know I didn’t have an option and best believe that it took everything in me to watch the movie from start to finish.
For WhatsApp ruining my pictures and videos? I have given up on them.
How they keep introducing new features and shoving the majority of them down our throats without fixing the very problem we complain about is both annoying and baffling.
While we wait for the day they decide to hear our cries and do something about their system reducing our image qualities we just have to hang in there.
While some people don’t mind watching movies of low quality, and that’s okay, for me, good quality makes all the difference and I am down for it any day any time.
