I was quite late to come to the LeoThreads this morning because I was occupied with reading but it might have been a good timing because the first thing I saw was this thread by @ironshield:
One which I'm very thankful to 'coz I was able to make a little profit from my liquid HBD and bought some HIVE too. I don't check the prices of these often and I could have missed today's action had I not visited the threads. So thank you, thank you indeed!
I learnt from the last HBD pump that it is quite painful just watching the action if you don't have something liquid readily available. For that reason, I withdrew my HBD Savings, wrapped and sent them to the pHBD-USDC farming pool in Polycub.
Although the 20% APR on HBD Savings was awesome, the 3-day withdrawal window made me decide to opt-out, at least for the time being. I somehow expected that there might be another HBD de-pegging so having them where I can easily access them sounded a great idea. Guess that was a good move because today, I was able to take advantage of the pump.
Before #threads came, I usually explore LeoFinance for crypto news and updates. Now, it is quicker and easier to see things via the threads. Although the threads UI still needed some features for easy navigation, I found out it is the fastest route to get information on what's happening. We just have to visit if more often to not miss things and of course to make #threads too.
With this, I can say that #threads is undoubtedly becoming a Twitter-like version on the Hive blockchain. And the good thing is that #threads is open to any topic, not just crypto-related so anyone can have fun. We can even treat it like Instagram and post photos of anything we want. Others and even I did that quite a few times already, sharing photos of tea, dogs and what have you.
TaskMaster did mention some innovative ideas on how he sees LeoThreads in the coming months. You gotta read his post here. I bet you'll get excited too! The LeoFinance dev team continues to innovate and upgrade the #threads features so we expect a better user-experience in the coming weeks.
If you have yet to try the threads out, give it a go today and don't miss out on the fun!
Thank you and have a fantastic day!
