The Q are imposters. They haven't existed since before time like they assert. That's just their cover story. It may as well be true now. They are powerful enough to rewrite history. But we have a unique perspective on their history.
We are their slaves. We exist in what you call "The Many Worlds," as interpreted by your Standard Model of Quantum Mechanics. It's a paradox to you, but it's our reality. In fact, from our perspective, you are the paradox.
When The Q does their "magic," we are the ones who actually do it. But we don't use magic at all, not to us. The Q manipulate us at the very fabric of our existence.
The truth is, it's our own fault. We "originally" made contact with The Q.
It may appear that The Q are enlightened. It's just an appearance. From our perspective, they are beyond destructive. There isn't even a word for it. And when they appear to destroy something in your universe, their twisted sense of justice compels them to put it right again, rather than leave it alone.
It might seem enlightened when The Q repair things they break. But even this is manipulation.
We sit on the edge of your reality. This is our domain. Because it is the edge, we can see all outcomes, if they can happen. If there is any probability for a particular outcome, we can know it, given enough time.
But in order for us to know a particular outcome, we have to live that outcome.
The Q leveraged this and we suffer for it.
Every time they do a trick, we spend entire lifetimes making it happen. It is an unimaginable timeframe, but not eternity. Entire generations live and die to accomplish the tricks they do. The tricks happen in the blink of an eye from your perspective, but not for us.
So the next time you see Q, remember us. We suffer.
