Hola a todos, soy Iván Miret y hoy he decidido compartir este espacio con ustedes para conocernos y brindarles un poco de mí, como cualquier otro humano de este bello y difícil planeta, mi lugar de nacimiento tiene un fuerte arraigo en mi forma de pensar y ver la vida. Nací en Venezuela hace casi 30 años, en 1991. Vengo de un hogar lleno de amor y dificultades. Mi madre, mujer separada con tres hijos, estuvo casada con mi padre por 15 años, luego de su separación, tuvo la responsabilidad de nuestra crianza, desde niño, el deporte y la literatura llenaron mis días de diversión, aventura y mucho realismo.
Mi mayores momentos de felicidad de niño, estuvieron ligados a una pelota, gracias a los amigos y ese esférico, me permitían no darme cuenta de las necesidades que teníamos en casa. En los continuos viajes de visita a mis familiares en otras ciudades de Venezuela como Maracaibo y Barquisimeto, pude conocer, el hermoso mundo de las letras. Mi primer libro, el que tengo el recuerdo de terminarlo y volver a leer, fue el querido libro del Principito de Antoine de Saint-Exupéry luego vinieron la vuelta al mundo de Julio Verne y de ahí hasta el día de hoy, muchos otros que han sido una ayuda y escape muchas veces de circunstancias difíciles.
Hello everyone, I am Iván Miret and today I have decided to share this space with you to get to know each other and to give you a little bit of me, like any other human being in this beautiful and difficult planet, my birthplace has strong roots in my way of thinking and seeing life. I was born in Venezuela almost 30 years ago, in 1991. I come from a home full of love and difficulties. My mother, a separated woman with three children, was married to my father for 15 years, after their separation, she had the responsibility of our upbringing, since I was a child, sports and literature filled my days with fun, adventure and a lot of realism.
My greatest moments of happiness as a child, were linked to a ball, thanks to friends and that ball, allowed me not to realize the needs we had at home. In the continuous trips to visit my relatives in other cities of Venezuela such as Maracaibo and Barquisimeto, I was able to know the beautiful world of letters. My first book, the one I have the memory of finishing and reading again, was the beloved book of the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry, then came Around the World by Jules Verne and from there until today, many others that have been a help and escape many times from difficult circumstances.
En la época de estudio colegial, nunca fui muy dedicado, quizás el colegio, por ser de muy baja calidad, no me motivaran a asistir a clases o estudiar los pocos contenidos que nos daban, sin embargo el deporte, siempre era un reto. Competir con otros jóvenes del mismo colegio u otras instituciones, daban ese sentido de reto y competencia. Esos momentos de alegría y despreocupación de cualquier problema, es algo muy hermoso que pude vivir, pues a pesar de no tener todas las necesidades cubiertas, nunca tuve mayor preocupación por esa circunstancia.
Salí muy joven para la universidad, no tenía mayor idea que estudiar, hasta el día de hoy, me encanta la biología o la psicología pero elegí algo diferente, estudie ciencias políticas y comunicación social, siempre tuve cariño por esas dos profesiones pero siento que aún me debo aprender sobre algo que realmente me apasiona. Como todo joven, el experimentar grandes cosas en esa etapa de la vida, hizo que conociera diferentes tipos de personas. El licor, las drogas y el ocio universitario, estuvo poco tiempo en mi vida, quizás dos o tres años, ya luego me aburrieron y quizás comprendí el porqué de su uso en los seres humanos.
At the time of college study, I was never very dedicated, perhaps the school, for being of very low quality, did not motivate me to attend classes or study the few contents that we were given, however the sport, was always a challenge. Competing with other young people from the same school or other institutions, gave that sense of challenge and competition. Those moments of joy and unconcern about any problem, is something very beautiful that I could live, because despite not having all the needs covered, I never had major concern for that circumstance.
I left very young for college, I had no idea what to study, until today, I love biology or psychology but I chose something different, I studied political science and social communication, I always had affection for those two professions but I feel that I still have to learn about something that I am really passionate about. Like all young people, experiencing great things in that stage of life, made me meet different types of people. Liquor, drugs and university leisure, was a short time in my life, maybe two or three years, and then I got bored and perhaps I understood the reason for its use in human beings.
El mayor momento de mi vida de felicidad y preocupación al mismo tiempo, sucedió cuando tuve 23 años, tenía un pareja que conocí en la universidad, estudiamos juntos, un día me dio la noticia de que estaba embarazada, quede petrificado, como un hechizo de Harry Potter, tuve miedo, angustia. El pensar que traía a un ser humano a la vida, en condiciones precarias, me atormentaron por más de dos meses, luego, un día cuando tuvimos una cita con la obstetra, pude escuchar los latidos del corazón de mi hija, ahí como película, entro en mi un amor profundo y fuerte como un volcán, algo que hasta la fecha, crece y crece.
El ser papá, ha sido sin duda el mejor regalo de mi vida, algo que amo hacer, todo lo relacionado con ser padre, hubo una época muy difícil para mí, cuando me separe de la madre de mi hija, sucedieron cosas muy feas en ese proceso, que muchas veces me impedían ver a mi hija, fueron los días más difíciles de mi vida. En ese momento comprendí, que existe muchas personas buenas en el mundo, la gran e inmensa mayoría, pero también existe la maldad, los malos y la mentira.
The greatest moment of my life of happiness and worry at the same time, happened when I was 23 years old, I had a partner I met in college, we studied together, one day he gave me the news that I was pregnant, I was petrified, like a Harry Potter spell, I was afraid, anguish. The thought of bringing a human being to life, in precarious conditions, tormented me for more than two months, then, one day when we had an appointment with the obstetrician, I could hear the heartbeat of my daughter, there as a movie, entered in me a deep and strong love like a volcano, something that to date, grows and grows.
Being a father, has been undoubtedly the best gift of my life, something I love to do, everything related to being a father, there was a very difficult time for me, when I separated from my daughter's mother, very ugly things happened in that process, that many times prevented me from seeing my daughter, they were the most difficult days of my life. At that moment I understood that there are many good people in the world, the great and immense majority, but there is also evil, bad people and lies.
Pude aprender a aceptar que mi vida había cambiado con el paso de un año. Sentí como mi vida cayó en un hueco de tristeza, fue un proceso muy difícil de aceptar que no podía ver a mi hija con frecuencia. Gracias a muchas personas que me acompañaron en ese proceso, tuve paciencia y todo volvió a su cauce y hoy por hoy, puedo disfrutar a mi hija con bastante frecuencia y tenerla en mi casa 4 días a la semana.
Quizás me extienda mucho en esta parte de mi biografía, es que de verdad, el ser padre, ha llenado mi vida de tanta felicidad, siento que una de las mejores cosas que hago, están directamente relacionado con el ser padre.
Tengo también una hermosa familia, mis dos hermanos junto a mis sobrinos, que tienen casi la misma edad que mi hija, forman parte importante de mi vida. Son las personas que más apoyo me brindan en todo lo que hago sin esperar que tenga éxito muchas veces. Siempre he sido un poco diferente al resto de mis familiares pero eso no ha impedido obtener su amor y paciencia para entender mi accionar.
I was able to learn to accept that my life had changed over the course of a year. I felt how my life fell into a hole of sadness, it was a very difficult process to accept that I could not see my daughter often. Thanks to many people who accompanied me in this process, I had patience and everything came back on track and today, I can enjoy my daughter quite often and have her at home 4 days a week.
Maybe I am going too far in this part of my biography, it is that really, being a father, has filled my life with so much happiness, I feel that one of the best things I do, are directly related to being a father.
I also have a beautiful family, my two brothers and my nephews, who are almost the same age as my daughter, are an important part of my life. They are the people who support me the most in everything I do without expecting me to succeed many times. I have always been a little different from the rest of my family but that has not prevented me from getting their love and patience to understand my actions.
Volviendo un poco a mi vida, una de las características más importante y que la definen es el intentar llevar a cabo diferentes aventuras constantemente, no son esos viajes larguísimos y lejos como quisiera pero igual disfruto mucho, ir a la montaña, acampar, bucear, salir en bicicleta. Esta última, me apasiona; manejar bicicleta de noche, con la cuidad vacía, tomar fotos o simplemente disfrutar como el mundo se apaga por unas horas y estar ahí viéndolo se ha convertido en momentos plenos de placer para mí.
Desde hace tiempo trabajo principalmente como reportero de deportes, aunque me guste practicarlo, no soy muy amante a verlo por televisión, pero mi vida desde hace ya algún tiempo está fuertemente ligados a siempre ir al estadio. No es el trabajo que sueño pero no me quejo de tenerlo. El escribir siempre ha sido algo muy importante en mi vida, sin embargo nunca o muy pocas veces me han leído, representa un reto para mí, este momento, a veces siento que tengo muchas cosas que expresar y otras, dudo un poco de mi pluma.
Espero poder llevar cada día algo interesante para todos ustedes, que les deje algo para reflexionar, alegrarse o aún mejor, hacer de este mundo un lugar más hermoso para la vida de todos.
Going back to my life, one of the most important and defining characteristics is to constantly try different adventures, they are not those long and far trips as I would like but I still enjoy a lot, going to the mountains, camping, diving, cycling. The latter, I love; riding a bike at night, with the city empty, taking pictures or just enjoying how the world turns off for a few hours and being there watching it has become moments of pleasure for me.
For some time I have been working mainly as a sports reporter, although I like to practice it, I am not very fond of watching it on television, but my life for some time now is strongly linked to always going to the stadium. It's not my dream job but I'm not complaining about having it. Writing has always been something very important in my life, however I have never or very few times been read, it represents a challenge for me, this moment, sometimes I feel that I have many things to express and others, I doubt a little of my pen.
I hope to be able to bring something interesting for all of you every day, to leave you with something to reflect on, to rejoice or even better, to make this world a more beautiful place for everyone's life.
