A few days ago during a portrait photography session, I was able to make use of a light modifier that I had not used before. I am talking about the SNOOT.
This accessory, which ranges from homemade to highly complex, as in the case of the Optical Snoot, has as its main function, to direct the light in a more punctual or focused way towards a specific object or area.
In this case of the photographs I bring you, the intention was to create drama, isolating the subject from the rest of the background and creating shadows that in turn were also part of the protagonist of the portrait.
The truth is that I don't know why I hadn't used it before, because I loved the result!
If you don't have a snoot, I recommend you to look for tutorials that are very easy to create, even with its grid!

Hace unos días durante una sesión de fotografía de retrato, pude hacer uso de un modificador de luz que antes no había empleado. Les hablo del SNOOT.
Este accesorio, que lo hay desde caseros, hasta altamente complejo, como el caso del Snoot Óptico, tiene como principal funcionalidad, la de dirigir la luz más de forma puntual o enfocada hacia un objeto o área específica.
En este caso de las fotografías que les traigo, la intención era la de crear dramatismo, aislando al sujeto del resto del entorno y creando sombras que a su vez fueran parte protagonista del retrato igualmente.
¡La verdad es que no sé cómo antes no lo había usado, pues me encantó el resultado!
Si no tienes un snoot, te recomiendo que busques tutoriales que don muy fáciles de crear, incluso con su grid!
