Hello friends, Splinterlands celebrates its 6 years and we have been asked to talk about our history with the game.
So I'm going to tell you how I discovered Splinterlands, my beginnings, my achievements in the game and finally what I expect from it in the coming years.

Hola amigos, Splinterlands celebra sus 6 años y nos han propuesto hablar de cómo ha sido nuestra historia con el juego.
Así que os voy a contar cómo descubrí Splinterlands, mis inicios, mis logros en el juego y por último lo que espero de él en los próximos años.

Discovery of Splinterlands
My beginnings in Splinterlands date back to October 2021, in that year was the boom of the crypto world, I had made some small investments in cryptocurrencies but after a few months I realized that my thing was not to be aware of whether they went up or down in value, so looking through the internet I discovered a game that had the best of the crypto world and also resembled one of the games I played as a child Magic the Gathering. I quickly started researching.
After a few days I made an account and bought the Spellbook to start playing and accumulating cards.
Mis inicios en Splinterlands se remontan a octubre del 2021, en aquel año era el boom del mundo cripto, yo había hecho algunas pequeñas inversiones en criptomonedas pero después de unos meses me di cuenta que lo mío no era estar pendiente de si subían o bajaban de valor, así buscando a través de internet descubrí un juego que tenía lo mejor del mundo cripto y además se parecía a uno de los juegos que jugaba cuando era niño Magic the Gathering. Rápidamente me puse a investigar.
Al cabo de unos días me hice una cuenta y compré el Spellbook con el que poder empezar a jugar y acumular cartas.
Time Spent in Splinterlands:
Since I started playing in October 2021 I have not missed my appointment with Splinterlands every day. I spend a minimum of 1 hour a day on various tasks. As the Fallen Angels clan admin, I am in charge of checking that all the scheduled tasks I have are working properly, I keep track of the tokens and HP delegates to send the generated interests among the participants. We also organize the Brawls slots by adding members to them.
Personally, I have Xbot set up to play Ranked with my account and I take care of playing the Brawls and Tournaments which is where I usually get the best rewards.
Finally I have a land in WILD NORTHEAST, SHU VHO (094) of Natural type. At the moment, the land is working at half gas since I'm trying to improve my Chaos Legion collection thanks to the price drop we have.
Desde que empecé a jugar en octubre de 2021 no he faltado mi cita con Splinterlands cada día. Invierto un mínimo de 1 hora al día en realizar varias tareas. Como administrador del clan Fallen Angels, me encargo de comprobar que todas las tareas programadas que tengo estén funcionando correctamente, llevo el seguimiento de los tokes y HP delegados para enviar los intereses generados entre los participantes. Además organizamos las ranuras de las Brawls añadiendo a miembros en ellas.
Personalmente, tengo configurado Xbot para jugar en Ranked con mi cuenta y yo me encargo de jugar las Brawls y Torneos que es donde mejores recompensas suelo obtener.
Por último tengo una tierra en WILD NORTHEAST, SHU VHO (094) de tipo Natural. De momento, la tierra está funcionando a medio gas ya que en estos momentos estoy intentando mejorar mi colección Chaos Legion gracias a la bajada de precios que tenemos.
Accomplishments
To be honest, when I started playing Splinterlands I didn't expect to get this far. It has been a very hard road where I have worked very hard but I have been able to reap the rewards little by little.
Right now I have a Collection Power of 465,000, many gold level cards, a good collection of Gladius cards, a land and above all an important account in Hive that generates me daily benefits thanks to the healing rewards.
In 2 and a half years I can say that my goals have been achieved and I'm going for more.
Para seros sinceros, cuando empecé a jugar a Splinterlands no tenía la esperanza de llegar tan lejos. Ha sido un camino muy duro en el que he trabajado mucho pero en el que he podido recoger frutos poco a poco.
Ahora mismo tengo un Collection Power de 465,000 muchas cartas a nivel oro, una buena colección de cartas Gladius, una tierra y sobre todo una importante cuenta en Hive que me genera beneficios diariamente gracias a las recompensas de curación.
En 2 años y medio puedo decir que mis metas han sido cumplidas y voy a por más.
Upcoming Goals
I have set myself some long-term goals that I will try to achieve. On the one hand, I want to get all the Soulbounds summoners to the maximum. Once this goal is completed my intention is to get some legendary cards that I still do not have as is the case of Iziar that I see essential.
I also want to buy another land this time magical in the location where I have the other one, for this I will be patient because where I am located there are hardly any lands available and they are very expensive.
In addition I will continue to level up my Chaos Legion cards as long as I find good deals available.
In our clan and after carrying out several projects thanks to my knowledge in Python, I am thinking of creating a raffle system among all our clan members and accounts that have delegated HP or tokens to thank the trust placed in us.
Me he marcado unos objetivos a largo plazo que intentaré cumplir. Por un lado, deseo hacerme con todos los invocadores Soulbounds al máximo. Una vez completado este objetivo mi intención es conseguir algunas cartas legendarias que aún no tengo como es el caso de Iziar que veo esencial.
Quiero también comprar otra tierra esta vez mágica en la ubicación en la que tengo la otra, para ello voy a ser paciente ya que donde estoy ubicado apenas hay tierras disponibles y son muy costosas.
Además seguiré subiendo de nivel mis cartas Chaos Legion siempre y cuanto encuentre buenas ofertas disponibles.
En nuestro clan y después de llevar a cabo varios proyectos gracias a mis conocimientos en Python, estoy pensando en crear un sistema de sorteo entre todos nuestros miembros del clan y cuentas que haya delegado HP o tokens para así agradecer la confianza deposita en nosotros.
Advice for Beginners
Finally, to all of you who are starting in the game, I can give you a few tips that I am sure will be of great help:
- Don't be in a hurry to advance quickly. The biggest mistakes we make in Splinterlands are due to haste. Study well if you want to play with your own or rented cards and always set yourself a limit.
- The first thing you should do is join a clan. Thanks to clans you will get better daily rewards, you will get Gladius cards, SPS in Brawls and most importantly you will meet a lot of people who can help you not to make mistakes.
- Publish in Hive content of interest and invest the money obtained in improving your Splinterlands collection. That has been my secret, growing my Hive account at the same time as my card collection.
- And finally, enjoy playing. Every time I hear more and more voices complaining about the changes in the game, its mechanics, the high prices, etc... there will always be players with much more active than us both in Splinterlands and in real life and we are not going to be constantly angry and furious. Let's enjoy what we have and the effort it has cost us to get it, let's look back to compare how we were before and how we are now. The important thing is to have fun and enjoy ourselves.
Por último, a todos los que os estéis iniciando en el juego os puedo dar unos cuantos consejos que seguro es servirán de gran ayuda:
- No tengáis prisa en avanzar rápido. Los mayores errores que cometemos en Splinterlands es debido a las prisas. Estudia bien si deseas jugar con cartas propias o alquiladas y siempre márcate un límite.
- Lo primero que debes hacer es unirte a un clan. Gracias a los clanes obtendrás mejores recompensa diarias, conseguirás cartas Gladius, SPS en las Brawls y lo más importe conocerás a un montón de personas que te podrán ayudar para no cometer errores.
- Publica en Hive contenido de intereses e invierte el dinero obtenido en mejorar tu colección de Splinterlands. Ese ha sido mi secreto, ir agrandando mi cuenta en Hive al mismo tiempo que mi colección de cartas.
- Y por último, disfruta jugando. Cada vez escucho más voces que se quejan de los cambios en el juego, sus mecánicas, los elevados precios, etc... siempre habrá jugadores con muchos mas activos que nosotros tanto en Splinterlands como en la vida real y no por ello vamos a estar constantemente enfados y furiosos. Disfrutemos de lo que tenemos y el esfuerzo que nos ha costado conseguirlo, echemos la vista atrás para comparar como estábamos antes y como ahora. Lo importante es pasar un rato divertido y disfrutar.
