(ESP-ENG) Vampire Survivors - A lot of vice in one game!

Finding a game that really engages and entices and that you can take with you everywhere you go is something complex given the great amount of offer that there is out there. In the last few months I have been downloading game after game until I found one that I really liked and above all entertained me and I finally got it. I'm telling you, it's a title that's on almost every platform: Nintendo Switch, PC, Playstation 5, Android, MAC, etc so anyone can get it. Vampire Survivors was listed as the best game and with the best design at last year's BAFTAs, a real surprise since this world of video games is very wide and with an absolute variety.

Encontrar un juego que de verdad enganche y envicie y que lo puedas llevar a todos lados es algo complejo dada la gran cantidad de oferta que hay por ahí. En los últimos meses he estado descargando juego tras juego hasta encontrar uno que realmente me guste y sobretodo me entretenga y finalmente lo conseguí. Ya les digo que es un título que está en casi todas las plataformas: Nintendo Switch, PC, Playstation 5, Android, MAC, etc por lo que cualquiera lo puede adquirir. Vampire Survivors fue catalogado como el mejor juego y con el mejor diseño en los BAFTA del año pasado, una verdadera sorpresa ya que este mundo de los videojuegos es muy amplio y con una variedad absoluta.

This is a shooting game but in automatic mode, you just have to move around eliminating enemies. It seems simple but believe me it is not because within the plot there is more and more difficulty. All this is against the clock, the maximum time per game is 30 minutes within which you have to do what the mission asks you to do. Each level or world is a mission in which you will have to collect relics, unlock characters, eliminate a specific number of enemies, evolve weapons, and so on. I'm telling you, it's been a while since I've played a game as engrossing as this one.

Este es juego de disparos pero en automático, tu solo tienes que moverte por todos lados eliminando a los enemigos. Parece simple pero creanme que no lo es porque dentro de la trama hay cada vez más dificultad. Todo esto es contrarreloj, el tiempo máximo por partida es de 30 minutos dentro de los cuales tienes que hacer lo que te pida la misión. Cada nivel o mundo es una misión en la que tendrás que recolectar reliquias, desbloquear personajes, eliminar a un número específico de enemigos, evolucionar armas, etc. De verdad se los digo que tenía rato que no conseguía un juego tan enviciante como este.

The phases or levels are very varied and according to the theme of the game although we also see very random things. Forests full of creatures, a chapel, scientific laboratories, mansions, a library, a dairy; the game is crazy but literally and the creators want it that way because in one world you can be behind a vampire in his coffin but in another you have to get a piece of cheese, that for me is the magic of this game, how unpredictable it is. If you notice there are several levels with an exclamation mark, this means that there is something left to do, usually this tells you in the box on the left side.

Las fases o niveles son muy variadas y acordes a la temática del juego aunque también veamos cosas muy random. Bosques llenos de criaturas, una capilla, laboratorios científicos, mansiones, una biblioteca, una central lechera; el juego es una locura pero literalmente y es que los creadores así lo quieren porque en un mundo puedes estar detrás de un vampiro dentro de su ataúd pero en otro tienes que conseguir un pedazo de queso, esa para mi es la magia de este juego, lo impredecible que es. Si se fijan hay varios niveles con un signo de exclamación, esto quiere decir que falta algo por hacer, generalmente esto te lo avisa en el cuadro del lado izquierdo.

The variety of characters is wide, you start with “Antonio” and from there you discover the others. Each one has a native weapon that evolves with passive weapons, the combination of both will give you the final weapon which is crazy in the sense that there are many that are really broken. Each character has their specs, on the right you see them, in terms of speed, strength, stamina, health recovery, armor. Discovering them is part of the game but it's not just that because the levels before you also have to unlock them. If you notice there are many that I am missing but it is very complicated, the game is not easy even if it seems otherwise.

La variedad de personajes es amplia, tu comienzas con "Antonio" y a partir de allí vas descubriendo a los demás. Cada uno tiene un arma nativa que se van evolucionando con armas pasivas, la combinación de ambas les darán el arma final la cual es una locura en el sentido de que hay muchas que están realmente rotas. Cada personaje tiene sus especificaciones, a la derecha las ven, en cuanto a velocidad, fuerza, resistencia, recuperación de vida, armadura. Descubrirlos a ellos es parte del juego pero no es solamente eso porque los niveles de antes también tienen que desbloquearlos. Si se fijan hay muchos que me faltan pero es que es muy complicado, el juego no es nada fácil aunque parezca lo contrario.

In addition to all of the above there are some “improvements” which are also unlockable. What they do is to help or enhance the game for our benefit. For example, the Magnet drags the experience towards us to level up faster, the Recharge makes the projectiles shoot faster and so on. Below are the missions, I'm missing 20 but they are extremely complex. And at the end but this is already more advanced in the game are the spells, which are missions with a higher degree of complexity and that come to light once you discover several of those relics of which I spoke before.

Además de todo lo anterior hay unas "mejoras" las cuales también son desbloqueables. Estas lo que hacen es ayudar o potenciar la partida para nuestro beneficio. Por ejemplo, el Imán lo que hace es arrastrar la experiencia hacia nosotros para subir de nivel más rápido, la Recarga hace que los proyectiles salgan disparados más rápidos y así sucesivamente. Más abajo ven las misiones, me faltan 20 pero son sumamente complejas. Y al final pero esto ya es más avanzado en el juego están los hechizos, que son misiones con un grado de complejidad mayor y que salen a la luz una vez descubras varias de esas reliquias de las que les hablé antes.

A game looks like this. At the top right there are some transparent squares that tell you the number of maximum weapons per game, there are 6, both active and passive. If you notice on the floor there are some blue stones, they are the experiences that you have to collect to level up, which is the blue bar that is at the top. Once you complete the bar you will get a reminder to choose the weapon you want. You have to do it intelligently because the idea is to evolve one with another, that's easy because the game itself tells you. And so you have to be for half an hour, moving everywhere killing any kind of creatures.

Una partida se ve así. Arriba a la derecha hay unos cuadrados transparentes que te dicen el número de armas máximas por partida, son 6 tanto activas como pasivas. Si lo notan en el piso hay como unas piedras azules, son las experiencias que tienen que recoger para subir de nivel, el cual es la barra azul que está arriba del todo. Una vez completen la barra les saldrá un recuerdo para escoger el arma que quieran. Hay que hacerlo con inteligencia porque la idea es evolucionar unas con otras, eso es fácil porque el mismo juego te lo dice. Y así tienes que estar por media hora, moviendote por todos lados matando cualquier tipo de criaturas.

Do not underestimate this game, it is addictive, you can spend hours and not even realize it. It goes without saying that as time goes by, everything becomes more difficult, when you reach the 20th minute if you are not well armed, believe me you will not be able to continue advancing, the waves of monsters are big, resistant and unstoppable. A jewel that I was lucky enough to discover, I hope you do the same and acquire it, I highly recommend it, you will not regret it, I assure you. Because the visuals are top to the point that they warn that the large amount of lights can cause seizures or attacks; the soundtrack is very cool, the lore is worth, in short, a simple but incredibly complete game.

No subestimen este juego, es adictivo, puedes estar horas y no te das cuenta. Está más decir que a medida que pasa el tiempo más difícil se pone todo, cuando llegas al minuto 20 si no estás bien armado creeme que no vas a poder seguir avanzando, las oleadas de monstruos es grande, resistente e imparables. Una joya que tuve la suerte de descubrir, espero que hagan lo mismo y lo adquieran, se los recomiendo mucho, no se van a arrepentir, se los aseguro. Porque las visuales son top al punto de que advierten que por la gran cantidad de luces pueden ocasionar convulsiones o ataques; la banda sonora es muy cool, el lore vale la pena, en fin, un juego simple pero increíblemente completo.
