I had not seen any trailer or read any news of its release, I only saw it available, I like Spanish cinema and I have been following the career of one of the main characters for a long time. I woke up early and I wanted to see a film without previous information. the options were to end up disappointed or delighted. Guess what happened?
Only five minutes were enough to get me hooked, it was a very quick connection. I had woken up in a bad mood (typical for me) and the film made me change, in a short time I had a smile that would remain throughout the film.
An emotional journey with which many will feel identified, of course, those who lived the time in which some of the events of the story take place, the connection will be greater. Times without internet, the time of cassettes and walkmans to listen to music. But regardless of the generation you belong to, you will enjoy it just the same, I assure you! Encontrarme con esta película fue una gran sorpresa, no había visto ningún tráiler ni leído ninguna noticia de su estreno, sólo la vi disponible, me gusta el cine español y a uno de los protagonistas le sigo su carrera desde hace tiempo. me levante temprano y tenía ganas de ver un film sin información previa. las opciones eran terminar decepcionado o encantado. ¿Adivinan que ocurrió?
Solo cinco minutos fueron suficientes para engancharme, fue una conexión muy rápida. Me había levantado con algo de mal humor ( típico en mi )y la película me hizo cambiar, en poco tiempo tenía una sonrisa que se mantendría durante toda la película.
Un viaje emocional con el que muchos se sentirán identificados, por supuesto, aquellos que vivieron la época en la que se desarrollan algunos de los acontecimientos de la historia, la conexión será mayor. Tiempos sin internet, la época de los casetes y los walkman para escuchar música. Pero independientemente de la generación a la que pertenezcas, lo vas a disfrutar igual, ¡te lo aseguro! Porque la base de esta historia es parte de nuestra razón de ser: el amor. Sobre todo el primer e inolvidable amor.
Voy a pasármelo bien nos habla de la magia de esa primera vez que nos da cosquillas en el estómago, cuando empezamos a sentir atracción por esa persona que vemos de forma especial, que nos hace sonreír y que aunque no sepamos expresar todos esos sentimientos, nos da un subidón de dopamina que nos llena de satisfacción.

Voy a pasármelo bien es una comedia romántica musical que, cuando terminó, me quedé sentado un buen rato, sin que la sonrisa desapareciera de mi cara, recordando mi época en el colegio, los amigos que tuve y de los que nunca volví a saber, a las compañeras de clase que nunca me atreví a decirle que me gustaba.
¡Dios mío! Siempre me han gustado las buenas historias, las que son capaces de cambiar mi estado de ánimo, sacudir mis sentimientos y recordarme el lado bonito de la vida. Bueno, esos momentos de ficción que desearía fusen similares en la vida real.

What have the other friends done? Do they still live in that city? How did Layla and David meet? Why did Layla get in touch with him? Will it be forever an impossible love?

The promotions of the film sell it as a comedy to the rhythm of Hombres G and they are absolutely right, for a reason the title of the film is also the title of one of the songs of the group. The whole movie is full of the emblematic songs of this group that marked an era not only in Spain.
For those who don't know, Hombres G was an important Spanish group that was also very popular in Latin America, for example in my country of origin, they were very popular. Nowadays, at parties, there is always a segment called "la hora loca" and some of Hombres G's songs are played at marriages, baptisms and birthdays. So if you're a Generation Z kid, you may not know this group, but I know you've heard them at a family party.
For those of you who aren't fans of musicals, don't worry. The film has several musical numbers accompanied by entertaining choreography inserted appropriately and, very importantly, each ending of the musical numbers executes a seamless transition into the narrative.
I have seen other romantic comedies by the director, filmmaker David Serrano, and for me this is his best film so far. He has found the perfect balance between comedy, musical spectacle and, above all, a beautiful story in which each character has his or her moment to shine.

Las promociones de la película la venden como una comedia a ritmo de Hombres G y tienen toda la razón, por algo el título de la película es también el de una de las canciones del grupo. Toda la película está llena de las canciones emblemáticas de este grupo que marcó una época no sólo en España.
Para los que no lo sepan, Hombres G fue un grupo español importante que también fue muy popular en Latinoamérica, por ejemplo en mi país de origen, fueron muy escuchados. Hoy en día, en las fiestas, siempre hay un segmento llamado "la hora loca" y algunas de las canciones de Hombres G se tocan en matrimonios, bautizos y cumpleaños. Así que si eres un niño de la Generación Z, tal vez no conozcas a este grupo, pero sé que los has escuchado en alguna fiesta familiar.
Para los que no son fans de los musicales, no se preocupen. La película tiene varios números musicales acompañados de una entretenida coreografía insertada apropiadamente y, muy importante, cada final de los números musicales ejecuta una transición perfecta en la narración.
He visto otras comedias románticas del director, el cineasta David Serrano, y para mí ésta es su mejor película hasta el momento. Ha encontrado el equilibrio perfecto entre la comedia, el espectáculo musical y, sobre todo, una bonita historia en la que cada personaje tiene su momento para brillar.
Children's Cast
The selection of actors for the child and teen characters in the film shows that they have done a good job of casting. The child versions are as funny as the adult characters. Izán Fernández and Renata Hermida Richards, who play David and Layla do a charming job, making believable the chemistry that the actors playing the same characters as adults will also have.
David's personality is that of the typical nerdy kid who is bullied along with his two other friends. The encounter with a boy who has repeated many times the school year and the arrival of Layla at school will completely change their lives.
Layla seems like a very quiet girl, she already dreams of making movies and will stand out by committing some pranks that will get the boys in trouble. It has been fun watching David do things wrong every time, because of his friend's advice, trying to get Layla to like him. His eyes sparkle every time he looks at her, but he is unable to tell her how he feels about her.
Surely all the children's cast had a great time, dancing and singing in the musical numbers, that's what they transmit throughout the film and it's them, the new generation of actors that make a musical closure that will make us dance to the music of Hombres G.
Nostalgia
Many movies and series nowadays use nostalgia to attract viewers, some with better fortune than others, but this is a story worth watching.
Do you remember your school days? What happened to your childhood friends? Do you keep in touch with them or did you never see them again? Do you remember your first love? These and many other questions will haunt your mind after watching the movie. No matter if that time was not like a movie or the shortcomings we may have had, we all keep some nice memories of those times when we did not have so many worries, just getting good grades in school.

Reparto infantil
En la elección de personajes infantiles y adolescentes de la película demuestran que hicieron un gran trabajo de casting. Las versiones infantiles son tan divertidas como los personajes adultos. Izán Fernández y Renata Hermida Richards, que interpretan a David y Layla hacen un trabajo encantador, haciendo creíble la química que también tendrán los actores que interpretan a los mismos personajes como adultos.
La personalidad de David es la del típico niño empollón que sufre bullying junto a sus otros dos amigos. El encuentro con un chico que ha repetido muchas veces el curso escolar y la llegada de Layla al colegio cambiarán por completo sus vidas.
Layla parece una chica muy tranquila, ya sueña con hacer películas y destacará cometiendo algunas travesuras que meterán a los chicos en problemas. Ha sido divertido ver cómo David hace las cosas mal cada vez, por los consejos de su amigo, intentando gustar a Layla. Sus ojos brillan cada vez que la mira, pero es incapaz de decirle lo que siente por ella.
Seguro que todo el elenco infantil se lo pasó en grande, bailando y cantando en los números musicales, eso es lo que transmiten a lo largo de la película y son ellos, la nueva generación de actores que hacen un cierre musical que nos hará bailar con la música de Hombres G.
Nostalgia
Muchas películas y series de hoy en día utilizan la nostalgia para atraer a los espectadores, algunas con mejor fortuna que otras, pero esta es una historia que merece la pena ver.
¿Recuerdas tus días de colegio? ¿Qué pasó con tus amigos de la infancia? ¿Mantienes el contacto con ellos o no los volviste a ver? ¿Recuerda su primer amor?
