Hello my good people on Hive, I wish you all a happy Christmas and new year in advance. I am very happy to make my first post in this community. I want to share with you the processes involved in installing the Solar street light.
Father had bought the solar lights since middle of the year and had told me to find someone come and install them around the house. But I have been postponing the work for such a long time untill recently because of my many tight schedules.
The stress at work is just so terrible that I barely have time for myself. But thank goodness that I obtained a two week leave just to cool off and I eventually had the time to do the things I have been unable to do all the while in the house.
I realized it was not only the installation of the solar lights that I needed to do. Many of my clothes were torn and I needed to stitch them. My shoes needed repairs and a lot of other things.
In fact, I ended up spending the whole two weeks of cooling off on work, work and work. Hmmmm!! Is that not madness?? You can call it so if you wish but I am happy I was able to do what father wanted me to do and a couple of other things in the house. I didn't call anyone for the installation but did it myself. All I needed was just read the manual and boom! I was in the process and soon it was finished.
These are the solar street light packing list:
- The solar spot lights
- The cantilever presser
- Fixing screw for lamp pole
- The lamp pole
- The telecontrolle or remote controlle.
The Solar Packing List
Installation tools:
- screwdriver,
- spanners and
- pliers.
Below are the processes I went through:
I first examined the Solar to be sure that it is working and that I did by pressing the red button at the bottom of the panel.
I used the fixing screw and the cantilever presser to attach the solar panel to the lamp pole.
I attached the lamp pole to a raised platform where it will be exposed to the sun. Some on the wall and others on a long pole.
I used the Telecontrolle to adjust the light to the desired form. That is, full light and auto standby mode. Father said he wanted the compound to be bright and so I did it.

With these I finished the installation and my compound is now fully lighted ready for the Christmas celebrations.
