We are officially in winter so here is my monthly hive power up day and goals. There was a lot of things that happened during September so I have to change my goals accordingly for this month. As I cut down on my goals last month, I managed to hit all of them so I am happy.
First off the @leomarkettalk commenting goal of 10k last month was reached and I appreciate the help of anyone who participated. The rewards and updated balances have been announced and the participants and winners are shown here. I was able to be place 3rd so I will be getting a share of the LEO which I will either stake or invest in Cub Finance.
It's sad to hear that the engagement project has come to an end. It was a great project and it was too bad a few bad people ended up stopping the project. If you haven't undelegated from the project, I suggest you do. I will still use the CTP, LEO or SPORTS front-end when I can to help even if there are no rewards.
Hive Power Up Day
More information about Hive Power Up Day (HPUD) can be found at the October HPUD by traciyork. I realized I messed up and forgot edit my HIVE goals but I was aiming for around 110 HP last month. As I did a few more posts than usual, I was able to get around 160 HP earned last month.
My current HP (shown above) before powering up is around 1,599 HP and I plan to power up 25 HIVE. The results of this can be seen in the picture below and here is the transaction link. I decided to power up 25 HIVE just like last month because I think this number is sustainable in my opinion. I didn't convert any HIVE but recently HBD reached the limit so no more HBD is being rewarded. So instead of getting paid in HBD, we are now being paid in HIVE or a combination of HIVE and HBD.
As usual, I have added the entire month's addition to the Saturday Saver's Challenge and it is 7.725 HBD. I did realize that last month, I didn't account for the interest on HBD but I will be keeping track of it from now on. I collected 0.251 HBD as interest and I will be keeping track of this going forward.
October Goals
As usual, I based my monthly goals based on my yearly goals and how well I did during the previous month. Last month's goal can be found in my September Hive Power Up Day.
Token Goals
My yearly goals has been reached for the most part except for LEO Power. It sure seems weird to see me overshoot my goals but the grind continues since we still have a few more months in the year
- Increase my HP to 1750 HP (currently 1599 HP)
- Increase my staked SPORTS to 2.5M (currently 2.25M)
- Increase my UTOPIS holdings to 50 (currently 40)
- Invest 200 LEO into Cub Finance
- Increased Staked LEO to 1.4k (currently 1333.86)
My SPORTS goal might be a bit tough to maintain 250k a month but I see no point in stopping. I currently have some SPORTS sitting in my wallet to make up for any shortfalls I get so I will maintain the 250k SPORTS staked each month. It doesn't help that the SPORTS tribe has moved to outposts and that the vote multiplier doesn't work either. Also with the engagement project ending, my passive dividends for SPORTS has been removed but I will get back the SPORTS if I use up my voting power there.
My dividend token of the month to add is UTOPIS. The prices have started to drop back down to reasonable levels so I plan on adding on 10 more to my position. One thing to note is that UTOPIS staking is active so you can get back some more dividends for staking your UTOPIS. It has definitely been one of the best dividend tokens I have bought in HIVE.
As usual, I plan on investing at least 200 LEO into Cub Finance this month as well. During September, I waited until the new V2 liquidity pools were out to add to my position. I migrated to CubFinance V2 farms so you can see what my current positions are right now. Cub prices are definitely down but I think the IDOs will help on that end as there should be plenty of CUB burned during the process.
Gaming Goals
My gaming goals for the month is mainly for Rising Star and Splinterlands. Originally I was not planning to include it but there are days where I am fustrated so I thought adding in the daily quest was a good way to motivate me to continue working on it everyday.
- Maintain top 75 rank in Rising Star
- 1,250 cards in Rising Star
- Finish daily quest everyday in Splinterlands.
My rank in Rising Star is more or less stuck in the 65-75 range again. In fact it has been starting to slip a bit lately so this leaves me with the choice of opening more packs or buying more cards off the market to help with rankings. I overshot my card goal last month and I was able to get over 1k so I will aim for 1,250 cards this month.
