Good evening hive family, hope your day went well?
I'm here to show you how I made this straight gown with double slit at the side.
Here I have my Ankara material, lining, Zip,baby lace, aiming gum, tape, chalk, and my scissor .
First thing to do, I measure out my length from the full material and fold it by two, i ensure it gives me the size I want and measure out my hand pit and neck using my chalk to trace it out, also fold the other side of the material and place the first one I cut on the other one and I give out one point five inches allowance for my zip for the back side and I cut out.
Then i proceeded to cut out my hand.
I proceed to cut out lining for each part including the hand.
Now after that I proceed to fix my lining for both side of the gown which is the front and back side.
But for the front part I fixed the baby lace before putting the lining.
This is the front.
The back side.
The hand
After all that I proceed to join the both side of the gown together, fix my hand, and zip and finally here is the gown ready to wear.
Here is the outfit on her.
Thank you for checking on my post.
