Hello everybody,
Upon reading about this challenge I right away gathered the yellows in my gallery which I snapped and considered the Yellows of my life.
At the start of the year 2023, I ordered at Shoppee the year of the rat couple tshirt for me and hubby, I choose yellow because yellow is attractive.
When I first hold our first ever granddaughter I was wearing a yellow gold tshirt and she was wearing the crocheted blanket made by her Mom, my crochet student.
In cooking time, yellow is always around especially when I fry because I used coconut cooking oil.
When I made dessert I do not used white sugar. I used this kind of sugar as sweeter so my dessert becomes low carb.
I am very lucky bacause I knew how to make "puso" or hanging rice. I used the young yellow leaves of the coconut tree.I was 13 yrs old when I learned to form the leaves with my hand.
In one of the seafood restaurant here in our city, when ever we dined in, we always order their specialty the shrimp rice, It is sooo yummy!
Whenever we visit the parents place of hubby which is the Municipality of Aloguinsan in the South, we passed by the place called Tan-awan were vendors sell yummy cooked yellow corn at the roadside.
Really a great snacks, with only one corn cob, my stomach full already.
We passed by the next town at Mantalongon, we bought also this grilled corn we call "inanag". It is corn day when we travel on this part of our island.
Usually when we do not travel and just at home hubby ordered pizza at Alberto's the pizza maker with home delivery, I always choose the Hawaiian pizza bescause of many yellow pineapples.
When we dined in at Parola the restaurant by the sea, it was our first taste to their unique dessert, the cooked sweet potatoes paired with the yellow ice cream, whoa! the taste was so yummy.
These are Manju's which I have not tasted, when I bought it last week my money was 1k bill, the saleswoman have no change. I will really return to the place who sell it. I want to taste it!
My current crochet project is this yellow skirt which is not yet done.
Lastly, here are some of the yellow flowers I snapped by the roadside.
Hope you like the Yellows of my life.
Thanks for dropping by...
