Being a Crochetist, I deal with patterns almost in every projects I made. My entry is about my work-in-progress, the Hexagon inspired table runners. My eldest daughter's friend ordered 3 pcs side table runner 13" x 70" and one piece 20" x 110" for her long table. She prefer the tablerunners must be design in a geometric pattern. Using 3ply cotton yarn I designed a hexagon pattern using 3 colorway. Here is the hexagon pattern.
This was the first Hexagon I made then add more and joined them to form the table runner. When joined you can see the pattern turning beautifully
Constructing the hexagon using the extended double crochet stitch to achieved longer stitch which is appropriate for this thin or 3 ply yarn thread with steel hook small size #6 or 1mm hook.
