Yesterday, I was describing a recent dinner I enjoyed outside and the first time ever I got to receive a fortune cookie.
I waited for a whole day until I opened that fortune cookie. Why? Because I wanted to see what was written, on my own. I wanted to see if the message in the cookie would actually mean something. That it would be significant. And maybe motivate me more, or give me an extra idea.
Do I believe in Luck? In Fortune?
I believe that we are capable of creating our luck and our own opportunities. My life is proof of that, even though looking back at it now, I see that there are some things that could be changed to make a big difference.

Let's discuss the message.
I have been working hard the past few years. Fighting hard, spending a lot of time in a variety of my projects and trying to achieve my goals. I am sure that you also have worked / are working hard to achieve your goals.
But, is this the solution to our problems? To work hard?
To never relax, to never find some time for you? How can you balance your work/efforts and your life? What will be the aftertaste of your success? (assuming that it comes).
I think it is another quote that we need to always keep in mind.
"Time is a valuable currency. Spend it wisely by working smart and achieving more with less."
Maybe we need to redefine our goals often. Maybe the reason we feel we are working hard is our many or our non-feasible goals. Perhaps we just need to focus in ourself, in our life and in our own wants, so that we can better understand how we can be happy.
"Work with purpose, plan with precision. Success is the result of working smart."
So, ultimately my advice to you (and to me) is...
- Find a way to listen to what your soul wants to clearly define your goals.
- Create a path and find a smart way to follow it. Make assessments often :)
At the end, all our (hard or smart) work, will pay off
That's something to keep in mind and worth fighting for.
