Comenzaremos marcando cuatro triángulos isósceles pegados y debajo del segundo triángulo, marcaremos el cuadrado de 8×8cm.

We will start by marking four isosceles triangles glued together and under the second triangle, we will mark the 8×8cm square.

Posteriormente dibujaremos un rectángulo de 3cm de ancho y 8 de largo, en el primer triángulo y en el tercero.

Then we will draw a rectangle 3 cm wide and 8 cm long, in the first triangle and in the third one.

Luego dibujaremos una pestaña de unión en el primer triángulo de 1cm de ancho.

Then we will draw a joining flange on the first triangle of 1cm width.

Después de haber dibujado toda la plantilla de la cajita, procedemos a recortala.

After having drawn the whole template of the box, we proceed to cut it out.

Una vez recortada la plantilla, dibujaremos figuras de olas en todos los triángulos, para hacer los anillos que se ven en las palmeras de coco.

Once the template is cut out, we will draw wave shapes in all the triangles, to make the rings that can be seen in the coconut palms.

Comenzaremos a doblar la plantilla por todas las líneas trazadas y armamos la cajita uniendo los extremos de los triangulos por la pestaña de unión.

We will begin to fold the template along all the drawn lines and assemble the box by joining the ends of the triangles by the union tab.

Ahora procedemos a marcar los patrones de las palmas, la flor, las hojas y los cocos. Para las palmas utilizaremos cartulina verde manzana y verde oscuro, dos de cada uno, para las hojas usaremos cartulina verde manzana, para la flor utilizaremos cartulina fucsia y para los cocos utilizaremos cartulina marrón.

Now we proceed to mark the patterns for the palms, the flower, the leaves and the coconuts. For the palms we will use apple green and dark green cardstock, two of each, for the leaves we will use apple green cardstock, for the flower we will use fuchsia cardstock and for the coconuts we will use brown cardstock.

Antes de pegar las palmas en la planta, marcamos con marcador verde los bordes de ellas y las fijamos intercaladas en la punta de la planta.

Before gluing the palms on the plant, we mark with green marker the edges of the palms and fix them intercalated at the tip of the plant.

Fijamos los tres cocos en medio de las palmas y marcamos sus bordes con marcador marrón.

We fix the three coconuts in the middle of the palms and mark their edges with brown marker.

Luego marcamos los bordes de las hojas con marcador verde y las fijamos en la parte inferior de la planta una a cada lado, dejando un espacio en el centro.

Then we mark the edges of the leaves with green marker and attach them to the bottom of the plant, one on each side, leaving a space in the center.

Finalmente armamos la flor y la fijamos en medio de las dos hojas.

Finally we assemble the flower and fix it in the middle of the two leaves.
