Being president for a day|| Would it even make a difference?

I am sure a lot of people have thought about what would happen if they had the opportunity to become president of their country for a day, some might say they will try their best to make a change or get a bill signed that might make a difference for when they leave, but for me, my thought process is a bit different and I will tell you why.

First of all, I am not sure if I will ever want to be president of my country, especially if it is for a day, I feel like a lot of damage has been done in Nigeria and it would take a lot more time to do anything but if I have to, I guess I will.

Immediately I am made president, I will be tempted to just take a truckload of money and travel with my family but, I might try and convince myself out of it, who knows.

Now, if I don’t go with that plan, and I have to do three things for my country, the first thing I would do is put a travel ban on my country, now this might sound crazy but it's all part of the plan.

With this travel ban, I'll make sure that no one is allowed to leave the country and anyone who wants to come back would be given a few hours to be back.

Secondly, I will be hosting a press conference addressing the country to assure everyone that I have a plan and to stay calm, at this point, I will be making provisions for anyone who needs it because the next plan might bring unrest.

The last thing I will want to do as president is to invite every politician and influential person in the society for a meeting at the Aso rock and simply bomb the whole place down, it might sound crazy but it is for the good of the country.

The reason why I will choose to do this is because I feel like there isn’t much change I can do in a day and doing that simple act will eliminate 80% of the problem Nigeria has.

Also, after doing that, I might be able to stay president for longer because I will have no opposition and people will fear me, I might be tagged a dictator but, at least it will be for the good of the people.

Being mindful that not everyone will come, I will also be prepared to start an operation to assassinate whoever doesn’t come.

In the end, I feel like even though I get arrested or the day runs out, I would have made a whole lot of difference and it would be a fresh start for the country.

As much as I would have loved to go a different route where I will try to implement bills like making crypto legal or making better laws, I know that it would simply be reversed the moment the day runs out, so to me, this is the best plan.
