As I wrote about yesterday, I have sustained second degree burns to my dominant hand so posting is more difficult. I'm working through figuring out how to do more basic shit with one hand so that's fun. I am typing this entire post with only my left hand so forgive me if it suck lol. So The Immutable X guys behind Gods Unchained announced many months ago that they would be doing a sort of play to earn airdrop alongside the $GODS airdrop. Then shortly after, they announced that U.S. users were not going to be eligible for the drop and they were working on a different avenue to get the drop to U.S users. Well, last night it happened and I wanted to share.

I don't remember specifics of how these IMX tokens were calculated, please hit up google if you want the deets as I'm in pain and don't feel like finding it. The solution they came up with for distribution to U.S. users is pretty cool. They gave us 2 options - get USDC instantly at a rate of 1 USDC per 10 IMX, or get 4 weekly payouts at whatever the market rate is in USDC. This lets you get some exposure to IMX on the market price action. Fuck yeah Immutable, awesome idea! How to claim below.

Step 1:

Head over to Immutable X and connect your Metamask wallet.

Step 2:

Go to inventory and click on Claim Reward. You'll see how much IMX you've earned. You'll get a pop up and you'll see this if you're in the U.S. I chose the second option.

Step 3:

Agree to the terms and click confirm. You'll have to sign with Metamask and Immutable X.

That's pretty much it. They're having trouble keeping up with the withdrawal requests due to server overload, so you might get this.

If so, just give it time and try again.. I assume that you will need to withdraw from Immutable X to Ethereum just like with GODS token so keep in mind there will be a gas fee. Make sure you have some ETH ready in your wallet.
