Para un día muy especial y ardiente por los rayos del sol que nos calienta, les traigo una bebida apasionada por su tonalidad y atrevida por su sabor, dos frutas que le rinden homenaje a ese día de San Valentín pasado. Son una excelente combinación, partiendo del hecho de que son frutas exquisitas al paladar. Esta bebida viene como anillo al dedo para continuar celebrando el día del amor y la amistad, una buena opción para refrescarnos en verano y con un ligero toque de Sangría Caroreña, que es otra bebida distinguida y refrescante, para pasar un rato agradable y en buena compañía.
This was our favorite drink for this weekend, celebrating with the family, making a special celebration aside. Undoubtedly, a provocative and substantial drink, because also its ingredients, in greater quantity, bring us many benefits to our health, due to the composition of strawberry and parchita or passion fruit.
Esta fue nuestra bebida favorita para este fin de semana, celebrando en familia, haciendo un aparte para las celebraciones especiales. Sin duda, una bebida provocativa y sustanciosa, porque también sus ingredientes, en mayor cantidad, nos aportan muchos beneficios a nuestra salud, debido a la composición de la fresa y la parchita o maracuya.
For those hot days, we have this good slushy preparation, to cool us down and keep us always hydrated.
Para esos días calurosos, tenemos esta buena preparación granizada, para refrescarnos y mantenernos siempre hidratados.
Ingredients:
½ kilo of strawberries
2 large parchitas
4 spoonfuls of sugar
1 liter of cold water
Slush ice
Sangria caroreña (one glass)
Ingredientes:
½ kilo de fresas
2 parchitas grandes
4 cucharadas de azúcar
1 litro de agua bien fría
Hielo granizado
Sangría caroreña (una copa)
Procedure:
Wash the fruits very well, cut the strawberries, remove the pulp from the parchita, freeze overnight.
Procedimiento:
Lavar muy bien las frutas, cortarlas fresas, sacarle la pulpa a la parchita, congelar de un día para otro.
The next day we blend the parchita, adding a glass of water, then strain and reserve.
Al día siguiente licuamos la parchita, agregándole un vaso de agua, luego colamos y reservamos.
We continue with the strawberry, add water. After blending, we add the juice of the parchita, then the sugar, the rest of the water, the ice and finally the sangria. Blend again at high speed for a short time. The water and sugar will always depend on our taste.
Continuamos con la fresa, le agregamos agua. Después de batida le agregamos el zumo de la parchita, seguidamente el azúcar, el resto del agua, colocamos el hielo y finalmente la sangría. Licuamos nuevamente a alta velocidad por poco tiempo. El agua y el azúcar siempre van a depender de nuestro gusto.
Now we pack it to keep it cold, in a well sterilized bottle and serve, adding the seeds of the parchita. Cheers!
