What is LBI?
The LeoBacked Investment (LBI) token is the first of its kind, the 1st token to be valued completely in LEO. Each LBI token represents a percentage ownership in the overall fund including all LEO, HIVE, off-chain and wallets operated by @lbi-token. The goal is to provide a community based and ran investment vehicle focused primarily on the LeoFinance community and LEO token. We provide a weekly LEO dividend payment to all token holders whilst also increasing the value of the LBI token slowly but consistently over the long term by only investing into things that will stand the test of time.
LBI is a long term HODL token based on SPI's model. Because these tokens are backed and valued in their primary assets, the value only increases. Think of it as putting $1000 in the bank and earning interest. In theory, you should never have fewer dollars. The $1000 is the LEO you give us to buy your LBI token and the interest is the earnings we produce with that LEO.
We finish the year off on a good week at plus 2000 LEO. Leo curation looks likes it has taken a hit for whatever reason, maybe the reward pool is getting smaller if more people are creating and curating. LEO itself is a little stronger than it was last week so our HIVE earnings or worth a little less but still killing it from my POV. The dividend this week was 1014 LEO and should have been paid out already. We've had a nice solid week to finish off the year.

Yearly Breakdown
As it's the last report of the year, I've decided to show our earnings for each income stream and create a few charts showing how each has performed for us.
After 1 year, we've earned a total of 82,476 LEO between LeoFinance and HIVE rewards. That's an impressive number and cracking into 6 figures in year 2 is very doable. Big shoutout and thank you to everyone that has been involved and supported LBI from its inception. We've been growing from strength to strength and I look forward the adding other streams of income during year 2. We've been killing it, let's hope we can continue to improve.
Finishing the year off with a quarter-million LEO staked and near 10k HIVE POWER is mind-blowing when we think about it. Could we finish next year with 300k+, i think easy. What about 400k+, now that's a challenge. We need to increase income.
Not much change here, sold off a few HE tokens for HIVE and that's about it.
Price of CUB is down over 10% from last week so we take the hit on that, everything else is down a few percent as it's not been a great week for crypto and we're sorta stuck in limbo not knowing it's we're in a bull or bear market.

There you have it. We record a 63% profit 1 year from launch on token value.
When we include dividends paid out the APY for investors is higher again. Based on an average weekly dividend pool is 1032 LEO and a total holding of 378,979 LEO, we get a ballpark figure of 14.2%. Because dividends started on week 32, the actual dividend APY for this year split over 52 weeks has been 5.4%.
Total APY to investors has been 68.4% based on both asset growth and already paid dividends.
Well, slap me and tickle me pink. I would have never thought we'd have grown this big this fast. I still feel like it's only getting started and we've lots more things to explore. It's been an amazing first year, first of many i hope.
