Hello and welcome to this weeks LBI Holdings and Income report. LBI is a pooled investment token based on HIVE with a range of assets backing its token. Each LBI token represents a share of the assets, and the value of that share is published daily on inleo.io as a thread. All you have to do is check our profile page to find the most recent "Asset backed Value" for the token.
LBI came under new management last year, and we are working on raising its profile, converting it into a token that shares a portion of its income each week with token holders, while also selecting investments to maximize growth. LBI's roots are firmly planted in the @spinvest ethos of "get rich slowly". We don't chase amazing returns and massive gains, we look for solid investments, long term growth and the magic of compounding.
Let's get straight into the report - I'm a bit later than usual so here goes.

A fairly boring week this week compared to last weeks shuffles. 40ish HP added. 250 BXT added at the start of the week from the sale of INCOME tokens. GIFU, PIMP and BRO all much the same. BXT has been really good for us, we are now up to earning around 2 HIVE per day from it. Trying to work out where our next 2 HIVE per day passive income will come from.

Will EDSI be our next passive 2 HIVE per day? Well no, not really is the answer. If we sold off all the EDSI we mint, then yes we could - but where is the growth in that. As for the yield from EDSI, well it is about to decline over coming months, down to likely 15%. To yield 2 HIVE per day we would need 4855 EDSI, a long way from our 800 currently.
Anyway, we minted 20 EDSI, and added some EDSD. I also bought a few more EDSMM this week from the INCOME sale, so we mint just a little bit faster. Just 200 weeks till we mint another 4000 EDSI and can earn 2 HIVE per day.

Maybe this wallet could bring in the equivalent of 2 HIVE per day - if LEO does a 4X. Anyway, we have settled in to making around 30 LEO per day, and then splitting it in thirds - 10 for income, 10 to power up, and 10 swapped to HIVE. I have removed the @leo.voter delegation, and will put that HP to use elsewhere. Spent a month trying to get attention and figure out why the bot was missing us for payouts - to no avail. It's easier to just move on. Still, promising signs from LEO that maybe the worst is over for the price of LEO.

Ok, this wallet makes 0.5 HIVE per day, passive. Just 4X our number of DAAB tokens and we will be making 2 HIVE per day, right? Well it's not that simple. The hard part here is maintaining that income, as the APR on DAB drops every week, quite significantly. To keep our income at that level, we would need to mint a lot of DAB each week. We mint 20 per week at the moment, which is good but only just keeping us flat in income.
I could sell the DBOND minted by RUG to get there, but again that kills our growth chances long term. Anyway, the wallet is going ok, and our DAB and DBONDS are growing.

Ironically, our smallest wallet (on paper at least) is the best chance to mint 2 HIVE a day in the short run. Between the main accounts HP delegation, the pool and the HP this wallet owns we make close to 7 HIVE value per day. Swapping 2 of that for income is very sustainable, and something I will be doing from now on. Growth can still happen, and we need to see more income so the growth feels productive.
The underlying asset here - PWR - is being transformed into a growth token instead of a "soft-pegged" Hive surrogate. This is something LBI is definitely here for and we will keep working on building this wallet up.

The fund is back over $20K at the report cutoff time last night. Happy days, and hopefully the markets are nice to us.
INCOME report.
The reason I'm focusing on 2 HIVE per day throughout this report is that it is becoming harder to maintain the 1000 per week LEO income target. We need more holdings like BXT, that just pay daily and reliably. A lot of our assets are focused on growth, and long term incomes. That is great, but I also like Incomes now, and to feel like they are growing at least.
Watch this space as I look for new ways to bring in more passive income into this distribution.
Conclusion.
A nice week - value gains and restructure completed from the sale of the INCOME tokens. Over the coming weeks I'll look to build more passive income streams to give our income growth a boost, as that will benefit the fund in multiple ways. Bigger dividends - bigger weekly burns - bigger pool rewards and more funds to reinvest each week. Anyway, we burned 4.173 LBI this week, paid out 400 LEO in dividends, and increased in fund value by around $800 - a successful week overall I think.
