Hello and welcome to this weeks LBI Holdings and Income report. LBI is a pooled investment token based on HIVE with a range of assets backing its token. Each LBI token represents a share of the assets, and the value of that share is published daily on inleo.io as a thread. All you have to do is check our profile page to find the most recent "Asset backed Value" for the token.
LBI has just recently come under new management, and we are working on raising its profile, converting it into a token that shares a portion of its income each week with token holders, while also selecting investments to maximize growth. LBI's roots are firmly planted in the @spinvest ethos of "get rich slowly". We don't chase amazing returns and massive gains, we look for solid investments, long term growth and the magic of compounding.

HIVE Wallet
A significant change of note with the HIVE wallet this week. I pulled 1000 HBD out of savings. You will see through this report that these funds were traded to HIVE, at around 0.18 each, and invested into a range of our other wallets to boost them along. We added 181 HP from post rewards and curation return/inflation, which is a decent week considering I have not had as much content coming out in the last couple of weeks.
For the HBD, our target is 5000 in savings, but with HIVE price seemingly wanting to move higher, I felt it was time to pull some savings and swap that to HIVE. So far the move has been good, with around $100 value gained from higher HIVE prices since the swap. I'm usually not a good trader, so won't be playing the markets very often. This was more about setting up some of the income producing investments with some extra funds so they can grow faster.
HIVE Engine wallet.
LEO has hardly grown this week. I think we have only had 2 leo.voter payouts for the week, so only grew by 72.5 LEO. I have dropped down the delegation, and moved some of that to empo.voter. The advertised yield is smaller, but it actually gets paid every day, and I value that reliability quite highly. A small portion of the funds from the HBD conversion went into picking up a few more INCOME and BRO tokens.
Probably the best investment since I took over this fund has been BXT. It is definitely the quiet achiever of the wallet. If we look at the first weekly update I did after taking over, BXT was trading at 1BXT = 1.376 HIVE, with a HIVE price of $0.18, giving BXT a value of $0.247. Today, BXT is at 1 = 1.886 HIVE with HIVE at $0.198, giving a value today at $0.373. On top of doubling in value, it has also been consistently paying around 18% yield, making it a definite winner of "LBI's best investment since relaunch" award I just made up.
I have been requested to make a post about INCOME, and I'll try to get that done later in the week.
@lbi-dab wallet
Here is where you can see a significant chunk of the HIVE from the HBD conversion. A bunch of DBOND was added to this wallet, to speed up the rate of minting DAB's. DBOND's are backed by 1 HIVE each, and while they trade at times below this "peg", they are solidly valued in our books always at 1:1. RUG did a little better this week, minting us close to 100 DBOND's. I'm still unstaking a little to each week to boost the income getting spun out of this wallet, but as the DAB grows and the subsequent HIVE drips it generates grows, that will stop sometime soon.
Aside from buying around 1500 DBONDS, its been a pretty steady week here.
@lbi-eds Wallet.
Another destination for the HIVE from the HBD conversion is here. I bought some more EDSMM to add to the previous buy, and round us up to a nice, neat 4000 EDSMM. Overall, we minted just over 21 EDS this week, from all sources. I'd still like to rebuild our EDSD, but it is not really a high priority now that we have a good amount of miner tokens minting us EDS consistently. Let's just note that this wallet is 12.15% of our fund currently, and see where that sits in a couple of months.

Here is were more of the funds went from the conversion. I did a detailed post about this wallet, and the plans only a couple of days ago and I will simply refer you to that post now instead of repeating myself. High hopes for the long term future of this wallet.
@lbi-sim Wallet.
What's this, another new wallet and new investment.
I'll have much more to say about this new investment in a post in coming days. Suffice to say that I rate SIM as an investment higher than many do, and want to have some of our funds here. It is another @gerber project, like BXT. Many will say (@trumpman particularly) that DCITY is dead, but others would disagree. I don't have plans to play the game itself, but I like the LP a lot as an investment. The pool generates 16% APR. SIM in the pool also counts towards SIM Power (a 30 day average of your combined SIM holdings). This SIM power earns a significant yield also, paid in liquid HIVE each day, around 30% APR. Combined, I think this will be a good position for us.
Anyway, I think this may be a controversial position I have taken, but I'll make a dedicated post about it soon to go through in more detail.
Off Chain
Still no change here. Still no word from the Leo team about the BHBD unwrap, so it is still a guess. Been 2 months now...
Totals.
All of the above gives us a fund value of just under $22,000. This is up around $1800 on last week, which is nice.
Income statement.
Not quite a record week, but in our current form income over 600 LEO per week is a nice base. We burned 4 LBI this week, added funds to reward the LP and sent out nearly 250 LEO to our holders for weekly dividends. This is still a yield of under 2%, but LBI in its current form is a growth fund, with a bit of income at the end. Income will grow over time, that is guaranteed. The move this week with the HBD is aimed at speeding up that rate of growth.
Overall, another solid week for LBI, with a gain in value and solid income. All in all, really happy with the progress over the first 8 weeks of our new set-up, and looking forward to seeing where we go from here.
