This is the final post in my "What is an NFT?" series here in the LBI world. It's a full index of all the posts in this series along with other crypto educational series that I'm working on. Since the very beginning of starting this series, I set out with one single goal. That goal was to help people understand the power of NFT technology. NFTs are much more useful and powerful than just monkey JPEGs. Throughout the series, we explored a ton of different use-cases for NFTs. Some more practical than others, of course. That's the beauty of new technology. Creating a new asset class comes with a lot of trial and error. After 8 parts to the "What is an NFT?" series, I started to notice less and less engagement on each one, so I felt it was a good place to conclude the series. Maybe it will be revived one day, but I feel like there's a wealth of information in the series already. There's also been some great conversations and discussions in the comments as well so I always appreciate that. With all that being said, I think it's time to say "class dismissed"! Don't worry though, there's no final exam or anything like that. There's no credit. There's not even an actual class. I just try to have fun with everything I do and exploring all these different things that can be done with NFTs has been very fun. I'm already trying to decide the next thing to start writing about here on LBI, so if you have any suggestions for outward-facing evergreen content, please let me know! I think it's important that we create as much outward-facing content as possible here on the blockchain because that's what gets us more traffic. The ultimate goal here is to grow the platform (and our stacks) so making sure we create content for the wider audience of the internet is huge. Don't get me wrong, content for Hive and LeoFinance users is great. There's definitely a need for that kind of thing. I think we just need to think about the bigger picture of driving more users to this incredible platform. I bet you never thought you'd be graduating from something here on Hive. Well, today you're graduating from NFT school. You've earned your degree and are now an expert on NFTs. You're welcome. Just don't go around telling people you're an NFT expert because that's kind of cringe-worthy lol. To celebrate the end to the "What is an NFT?" series, I figured it was only appropriate to distribute "diplomas" as NFTs. So I'm going to do just that. If you'd like to receive your NFT diploma, all you have to do is drop a comment with one thing you learned from the series along with your Polygon (Ethereum) wallet address. Depending on the amount of people that want their very own NFT diploma, it may take me a little time to get these bad bois minted and distributed. It also depends on gas fees on the Polygon blockchain, but I will eat the fees to make it happen. If the fees kill me too much, I may mint these on the WAX blockchain. If so, I will collect those addresses instead. I know they don't mean anything realistically, but it means a lot to me that I'm able to do this. I've had a ton of fund exploring different NFT related things and I've had a lot of great engagement on the posts. They will all continue to be a part of my index of education content. I just have to get around to adding these last couple to the list. Congrats on learning about NFTs! Drop those wallet addresses! I hope you guys have a great weekend.
