SplinterGlossary: Land Surveying - Building in a Box Starter Package
The Building in a Box starter package purchases the construction of a level 1 building on the bounded plot, without spending any resources or DEC to build it. This starter package can be used in Land Expansion phase 2 when buildings will be added.
Building in a Box starter package allows starting construction of the level 1 building without any necessary resources, but it will still take the normal time to complete construction and workers staked on the plot to do the actual building.
Additionally, the Building in a Box starter package comes with a free Power Source that can be used starting from Land Expansion 1.5.
Power Sources are needed to keep the workers materialized so they can work the land. Without them, workers can't work the land (except Runi, which is a special case).
Power Sources can be purchased separately at a higher cost.
