A month ago, I shared about the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas - Confucius Temple in Taiwan. Thus, it was only on the other side of notably Confucius Temple. Tiger and Pagoda's, I wasn't able to write about as it would be too long. Thus, for today, #Wednesdaywalk hosted by @tattoodjay and #makemesmile by @elizacheng let's take you on a virtual tour as a continuation.
In the first part, we stopped by here. Us, paying some tokens and getting a scroll written in Chinese.
After taking a few more photos and being contented with them, we left and walked here!
Oh, your visit could have been better timing as it seemed it was under renovation. The husband uttered upon seeing it from a distance. When I took a glance, he was right. I can't help but feel regretful. Why now?
Still, we continued the journey as I still wanted to know was the attraction was all about. A few walks away from the temple, here is the view.
Both tourist spots were built at the river and had an overlooking view of the city. In the picture, it may look calm, but it wasn't. The wind was blowing hard, so staying on the railings facing the water wasn't safe. Especially for skinny ladies, lol.
Before reaching, we passed by a Lotus pond, but it could have been more lively to look at. It may be the season weather or simply not taken care of.
There are still a lotuses on the pond but no flowers. What I saw was a few turtles.
There were a few more walks, and we almost reached the destination.
It was now more visible in my eyes and even the bridge!
Since the Giant Tigers are under renovation, we couldn't pass to go to that temple!
I felt regretful, but there was no other choice, so we detoured and went directly here.
Yes, we are about to enter in that Dragon's throat!
The entrance may look tiny, but it was spacious inside!
The stairs were spacious enough to accommodate two persons to walk side by side. I only find it a little but slippery at first. The floor was too shiny!
I feel awe at seeing colorful murals painted, if I am correct, something related to their history!
On the other side was a small altar to honor significant individuals to whom they were devoting.
Knowing me, once I enjoy the surroundings, I easily get hooked. Usually, I end up forgetting to take photos! Remember only when we are almost near the exit!
At least I managed to snap some memories!
Reaching the exit, we were greeted by this view!
Perfect! I can even smell the distinct scent of a river mixed with the fresh air! Giving me the nostalgic vibes of the past! When was the last time since I sniffed that? Decades, when my brother and I used to go fishing at the river. It was like home!

Now I am confused! Was it a dragon or a serpent?
But wait, there are a lot of #featheredfriends here! Wandering in a group! Are they looking for food? Or want someone to chit-chat?

Apart from this, on the other side, as we left, we stumbled into this.
I didn't expect to see a lot here; it was a rare sight in my country! I was still bubbling to the husband, but his co-worker called. Yes, the one who drove us on a tour from Kaohsiung to Taipei told us to return as we will have a road trip to the South. In which, we dropped by at the Fo Guang Shan Monastery at Kaohsiung Taiwan and the Enchanting view of Duona Suspension Bridge Maolin Taiwan.
